I made an appointment for an initial consultation with him and went to that yesterday. He's a really nice guy and has long history of successful surgical experience. But unfortunately my insurance Florida Blue doesn't cover any sort of weight loss and I don't have the money to pay out of pocket, so my bariatric weight loss dreams ended there until I get a better insurance plan. Dr. Sharma was very kind and handled explaining things to me about insurance and giving me out of pocket estimate. If I ever do get better insurance that covers a bariatric sleeve I'll be using Dr. Sharma for it.

My weight had plummeted drastically to the point where I was skin and bones. My gastroenterologist kept telling me to take Pepsid but did nothing to address the root issue, which was a hiatal hernia. After several endoscopy sessions confirming the presence of a hernia he chose to just monitor the situation. I only wish I had found Dr. Sharma sooner. He took the time to listen to my symptoms, order the right tests and personally did my endoscopy. He discovered my hernia was much larger than my gastro initially relayed and I was scheduled for surgery soon after. His skill as a robotic surgeon is unparalleled. I did not have to take any pain meds post op at all and the incisions healed extremely well. What a blessing not to have any complications, something that speaks to Dr. Sharma's level of competence and experience. I am truly thankful and will be forever grateful for him and the standard of care he and his staff have shown to me. He has indeed given me a new life. I should also mention his facilities are spotless and state of the art. That in addition to the sweet and caring staff has always put me at ease. I wish I had gotten her name, she said they had a full schedule but come in and they would make room. They did. It was only 20 minutes and I was sitting with the nicest doctor Kathleen Gargin. I feel like she actually cared about my situation and even made sure to give me something should I develop an issue with a medication she gave. I've never had a doctor care what happens after I leave there office. The prescriptions she prescribed were affordable and I didn't have to hunt all over town to find them, I've had to before. I wish she was my PCP. This is a great urgent care.

Multiple times I have called for refills on medications, and she would brush me off and it would take at least 5 days to get service. I don't know what she was doing, but clearly her Dr's patients were not her number one priority. And even if she was overloaded and very busy, a little kind, customer service would have been greatly appreciated. I work with the city at large's community every day, and manage to have empathy and compassion. This woman needs to be a prison guard. She was absolutely awful, she is doing the doctors in this practice a great disservice.

He's saved my life on multiple occasions by finding and treating my HBP at a young and and have been on the same medication for over 30 years and my BP is normal. His referral skills are top notch when I needed a neurosurgeon and during a crisis he immediately recognized my condition and referred me to a specialist that was very compassionate and supportive. With costs on insurance and misdiagnosis happening he and his team have always given me the trust and supportive documentation for my diagnosis and why I needed this. After hearing his name from two separate people in two different years, I decided to change. Boy am I glad I did! Their staff is excellent and always greet me with a smile. I was so happy, that I had my husband see him too when he was diagnosed. I'd had several thyroid biopsies and each time it felt like a horrific experience that ended in me crying.
