Well, they used to be good. Now the complex has a lot of issues. Like many safety issues and health violations. The buildings are falling apart for one thing. This complex was built back in the 80's when codes didn't matter. Forty years later it shows. The buildings are falling apart. Investments Limited, management company and Dawn the property manager there tried to fix everything the cheapest way possible. Two years ago they had the stairs replaced. Before the stairs were built out of concrete, now they are metal and not put together properly. They squeak and my daughter is afraid to walk on one set. The walkway to our apartment flood when it rains. My wife fell and was hurt very badly. Dawn threatened to evict us if we filed a claim. Last year, we had to deal with no windows because of structural repairs. They should have put people in a hotel while repairs were going on. They are still going through units in the complex, attempting to repair the damage that years of water and termites have done to the place. I've spoken to there contractor and he told me that they'd be better off if they leveled the place and rebuild everything. They also tried to pretty the place up with paint but at this point, it like putting lipstick on a pig . Don't get me wrong, it's not all bad, since Dawn took over security is better, a few years ago I caught two guys having sex in the pool, I'm glad that nonsense doesn't exist. Security is better, naturally a Nazi is going to have better security. Now my family has to endure the expense of moving in two months, because Investments Limited and Dawn refused to renew our lease. Dawn told us that it was a matter of a safety issue however they will not relocate us to another apartment or pay for our moving expenses. That would be the right thing to do. Dawn told us that's our fault and we should save our money, how could we when our rent has doubled since we moved here five years ago? I don't know how much of a kickback Dawn is getting from all of this but it must be a lot. I hope that she gets caught and is put in jail or at the least loses her job. read more

However, I would feel beside myself if I didn't share me and my roommates experience living here. As you can see in previous reviews, these buildings are literally falling apart. No proper repairs, everything is paint on top of paint on top of paint. The dryer machine will make a noise so loud it scares you out of your sleep, and it will move across the laundry room poking a hole in the wall that you will be responsible for repairing. Now, what genuinely scarred me the most. The cockroaches. The termites. The bugs. ENDLESS BUGS! Me and my roommate are very clean and very mindful about leaving any boxes, food, garbage etc out. We had pest control come THREE times and eventually bought our own at home spray and traps. Those didn't work. Nothing worked!!!!! These cockroaches moved in with a family of 100 and never left!!!!! The building across from mine was fumigated, but the entire place needs it! Even then, I don't think it'd save this place. The entire place needs to be demolished IMO. There's only one decent pool and it's the leasing office pool that requires a key fob, to which they only give one fob per unit not per individual. Same thing with mailbox key. Mold in the showers, drain came out, toilet squealed for 15 seconds after flushing. Flashing sign outside the complex that says, "LOCK YOUR DOORS," and our sliding glass door popped open when my roommate banged on it to see if it'd come unlocked. It is now January 2020, going on the sixth month of said fitness center closure! The office has received many inquiries and complaints, as residents pay for said service. Many excuses have been given, such as the roof needed to be fixed, the air conditioning was nonfunctional, and others. To Tivoli's credit, I was reimbursed the one time fee for the center. I've been living here since may 2021 and they honestly don't fix a thing. I've had a problem with Mold since the fourth month of me living here they come in spray my walls, and then it comes back weeks later. My AC vent has been making a weird noise for the past four months. The maintenance guy came in and said it's normal. It literally sound like it's clogged. My stove has went out twice. It is currently not working on a Saturday morning and I have to wait until Monday for them to come to temporary fix it. My current rent is 1400 and they said it's going up to 1800 if we release lol do you honestly think I'm staying here?? I can hear EVERYTHING my neighbor up stairs is doing. Heard they raised the rent, definitely not worth what they are charging now. They repainted the parking spaces lines making them much bigger in sizes but now we have way less parking spots. Towing company hired to do the parking permits and towing have their address listed and when I went to their office to talk about a new parking permit, found out it is actually a PO Box. My review is mixed. The price is good for the area. It's much lower than surrounding complexes. That being said, you get what you pay for. The appliances are old, and the place generally needs updating. The "state-of-the-art" gym (as they describe it online) is laughable. It is not at all maintained. There are many free weights missing, the machines are OLD, and the seats on them are split down the middle. It looks like someone's old garage gym. They allow dogs, which is a huge plus for me, as many places around here don't. I did feel safe here, but about a month ago, THIRTY-ONE Hondas got broken into in a single night. There are street lights out that haven't been replaced for months...even after the break-ins. They were never addressed by management. I don't feel super safe here anymore. There are several, pretty nice pools in the complex and two, non-functional hot tubs. The beach chairs around the pool are, like many other things here, breaking. There are tennis courts which, while not super pretty, I imagine would serve their purpose. It's reasonably quiet here most of the time, and I've met nice neighbors. The thing that the earlier post said about the maintenance department entering your apartment without calling first is true. You can submit requests online, and I ALWAYS ask them to call first so that I can put my dog away. He gets nervous around strangers and will bite if he feels threatened. They NEVER call. They just open the door. It's invasive. Requests are taken care of promptly, though. I would recommend living here if you're budget conscious and don't need a bunch of amenities...and if you don't leave valuables in your car. read more

I have to say that in the time I've been here (over 3 years), I've been present for a transition in ownership that I believe improved the community significantly. Investments Limited is investing into so many community enhancements including renewed tennis courts, a new dog park, new pickelball courts, new gazebos, new grills, renewed gym, parking and security... I am very impressed. Secondly, the office staff and maintenance men especially are so hard-working and attentive - you never have to wait on them; they are so reliable and really do a great job at keeping up with the community. I lived here for two years. Paid my rent on time each month. Gave them 60 day notice moved out 15 days early and allowed them access to apartment early. Left my apartment in excellent condition. I received a certificate letter a month and half later I would be receiving my deposit back less the 150.00 administration fee. I had 15 days to object. It's now 40 days later and I still have no check. Now if I was late on my rent they would have charged me a fee. But they want to call me back tomorrow with more info on when the check was sent out. No they should cancel that check and send FedEx another check next day. I had issues when I live here but I felt that my apartment was nice and convenient so I stayed. I thought that I would return when my ob send me back to that location but now I would have to say never will I move back there. Think twice before moving here. read more

We have loved living here the past 2 years. They have pretty competitive rates for the market/area so I'm grateful to them for giving us middle-class workers a decent place to live without going broke. Their parking lots and the main road through the community could be less bumpy but I have seen them cleaning things up along the way. They are currently updating the wall/signage around the community to make it look nicer. There are always workers around picking up trash, keeping up with the lawn, and checking out the pools. Plenty of volleyball, basketball, and tennis courts to play around on. I've recommended Zoraida to everyone interested in leasing. She's very professional and gets back to you promptly. So far we've had 1 family member move in who's been enjoying it and 1 friend hopes to get in soon . It's a great area close to all main roads/highways, restaurants, gas stations, grocery stores abound. Nice little lakes all throughout the community to walk. One of the only rental communities with less strict pet policies unless that was changed in the past 2 years. They have recently implemented parking stickers and a security guard fleet. I would give 5 stars but the community still has a bit of cleaning up that needs to happen. I live in a nice apartment in Tivoli Lakes Club but looking around at some of the other complexes in Tivoli Park, they look old and their parking lots look very crammed. Our appliances are old but we've gotten used to them. It's going to take time to clean up parts of this community but truly Tivoli and Natura as a whole, continue to be one of the most comfortable places to live in Deerfield Beach if you can't afford to buy a home in the area. read more

Tivoli is a decent place to live if you have pets, specifically dogs of ANY size, and you're looking for something affordable. I lived in Tivoli Lakes Club in a 2BR from 2007 until about 2015. Place was clean, affordable and with a lake view. We needed to save so we moved to a 1BR in Tivoli Springs, with a real pretty courtyard view. The place is well maintained. Pablo, one of the maintenance guys, is amazing. We always see him cleaning around the dumpsters and just generally keeping Tivoli Springs looking great! If we need something, he's always helpful. A real nice guy! The only complaints I have is the parking and sometimes the office personnel can be rude. Parking is an issue because they no longer use parking permits. Virtually anyone can park their car/truck here and no one will notice unless neighbors complain. They park along the side, leaving no room for 2-way traffic coming into the complex. Twice I was almost hit head on because of a black truck parked on the side, right at the stop sign! Personnel can use a refresher on how to greet people and customer service in general. Although lately I have noticed a change where they actually answer the phone. And yes, while they come unannounced to your unit, response time is pretty quick after you call about an issue. Props to that! All in all, Tivoli is a great place to live until you're ready for that next step to own your home! read more

I must say after the events that have happened to me in this community I've never felt more unsafe in my place of residence. The worst part is that the staff is to blame for me feeling the way. In the most recent incident I was on my way to work when one of the maintenance guys trapped me (in my car) in the front entrance that is under construction. He then got out of his huge lack truck and started screaming at me and threatening me. In fear that he might hurt me I locked my doors and didn't make eye contact with him. When he realized I wasn't going to give him attention he got back in his car and proceeded forward. When we got onto natura blvd he slowed down to get behind me, tailgates me and then ran me off the road!!!! There was no reason for this terrifying behavior out of him. I'm a girl mind you, so the fact that he was harassing me was just completely uncalled for! My roommate has had a similar encounter with the same employee but in her case he followed her to our apartment and started screaming at her. The thing that terrifies me most about this man is that the maintenance team has access into our apartments so whose to say he's not going to come in while we're not home or while we're sleeping and continue this harassing behavior. I have lived at Tivoli Park for three years now. If you want to call it the slimiest place to rent, it would not be misleading. First two years most of the pools were closed and not fixed for months. Never any chairs that were able to be sat on. The grounds were always a mess and not kept up nicely. The lawn company they have basically blows dirt into your balconies, onto your car and anywhere they want because they're edging dirt not grass. It's not their home, and they treat it as such. And management doesn't really care. Talk about the apartments itself. The second apartment I moved into had a mushroom growing out of the wall in my bathroom, when I got back from vacation for a week. My air-conditioner is constantly spewing out filthy dust, not white dust. I even had them come and clean the ducts but no change. My air-conditioning unit has mold all over it and there's no way to clean it unless they replace it. I still don't have a shelf in my refrigerator freezer so everything falls out and they tell you that they cannot find screens for your windows or the patio doors, which is an EPA violation. And not true. They are now in the process of fixing the place up a bit outside. I believe they either want to start charging more for rent or they have sold the place. Investments Unlimited is the owner that has probably over 100 properties in the Boca and Fort Lauderdale area and keep them all at a slum level. They seem to be taking care of the property and re-doing and fixing the parking lot by painting and repairing destroyed spaces due to tree roots. They're giving it a slight makeover to make it look better for the people who want to rent next. It's all surface clean just to make it look presentable. You can't even see the apartment you are going to be in until it is available for you to move into. They have no models to show you and you're taking your chances. For the first time in three years , they actually put mulch around the buildings that used to be just dirt. And I mean real dirt not the type of soil that you could plant anything in. The rude management and office staff is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to problems here. I signed a lease to live here in September and 3 days later my car was STOLEN over night. I'm not the only person either, after filing a police report and being in communication with the cops trying to get my vehicle back, they told me 5 other cars had been stolen within a 3 day period. When I asked the management if they could check the cameras at the entrance because I knew the time of day it was stolen, they told me "they didn't have access to them" are you FUCKING kidding me?! Who isn't able to access their own security cameras??? SUPER SKETCHY! They didn't show ANY sympathy either, they told me the reason my car was stolen is because it was a honda civic (my doors were locked btw) sorry I'm a recent college grad and can't afford a beamer??? My roommate was walking her dog a few weeks ago, and a cop rolled up next to her and asked if she heard gun shot....so basically this area is really bad and unsafe. The apartments themselves are relatively nice, but old. The air conditioning just works OKAY. Oh and be aware there is a 80% chance you will have to pay a double deposit when you move in if your credit isn't great or if you don't have a long renters history. Don't do it. Absolutely the worst living experience in the area. Apartments are cheap. The management is like dealing with children. Mold and termites are extremely common. We had mold growing in our kitchen even on the plates. They moved us to another apartment. Months later at the other Apartment we developed a Roof leak. Management told us they didn't not care about it. Mold later grew in the walls. Upon moving out they sent me a 3,600$ damages bill. If Yelp had a 0 star Tivoli would receive it. Drug dealers are very common here. SWAT helicopters and gun shots can be heard often. The only two perks are cheap rent and you don't have to clean up after your dog. No one else does. Maintenance is pathetic . They will come to tour apartment unannounced and let themselves in . I tell everyone who ask about apartments to stay away. I moved in and my sink was leaking, I called the maintenance crew and they came to check on it 15 min after I called and then had someone fix it the very next morning. The cabinets are made of particle board material so they're very flimsy. they charged my gf $50 to screw back a cabinet when she moved out even though they were always coming off. They had the nerve to charge my gf for air duct cleaning and housekeeping cleaning a total of $140 even though she cleaned it before moving. on top of that a $150 administrative fee?. They kept all of her deposit of $1000 and now they're trying to charge her $200 or the amount will go against her credit. read more

I have lived in tivoli circle( specifically the courtyards) for a little over 4 years. Price point is reasonable, the apartments aren't BRAND NEW, but they do make good improvements upon move in. Neighborhood, overall in my opinion is safe, kids play outside a lot and don't get shot or kidnapped, so it can't be that bad. Conveniently located, good neighborhood and neighbors, maintenance team could use some improvement, but overall, I have looked and you really won't find a place quite this comfortable for the price and location. Not to mention, they are about to do more for the tennis courts and all the community pools to make them new. read more
