This TJMaxx location is great for anyone traveling on a cruise out of Port Everglades or in town on a Ft. Lauderdale beach vacation. The selection of clothing for tropical weather is both fashionable and reasonably priced. I found that there was a lot of clearance items but they need to be checked very carefully for damages and missing parts. The store was pretty crowded which made the checkout lines pretty long and equally slow. Parking is plentiful but crowded in the closest spaces to the store. read more

People know to go to TJ Maxx (or Marshalls) if they need to replace broken luggage fast, with something that will serve its purpose. My brother and I were in Fort Lauderdale between cruises, and one of the wheels on his big checked bag came apart. We will see if he can fix it enough with tape and superglue to get it back home, but since we had time, we walked over to the nearby TJ Maxx to check out what they had in luggage. As expected, they have a very large selection of bags. They even had premium brands like Tumi and TravelPro. I took the opportunity to purchase a non clothing item that they buy in excess, saving their customers money. In my case, it was a bottle of ultrasheer sunscreen for probably half of what it would cost at a drug store (though it was definitely older, expiring in 14 months vs the 26 from a drugstore). read more

This is a nice TJ Maxx. I went to check out some decorative pillows and their selection was large and well placed on the shelves. The price point, colors and sizes were really good....nice place to shop for home decor. Plenty of parking in the strip mall area. read more

I'm a little late. Had the pleasure of visiting this store on Sat, 9-25. Was my 1st time at a runway store. We don't have them where I live. The young lady working in jewelry gave me superb service. She was eager to show me any jewelry I was eyeing. Before I told her I was visiting from out of town, she gave me more info about the runway sale after a Gucci ring Iiked wasn't my size. After I decided on these beautiful Kate Spade earrings (pics do no justice), she offered to check me out right there. Only having a few items, she saved me from having to stand in a line. She should be commended. The next time I'm in the area, there's a good chance I'll return. read more

This review has mixed feelings. I stopped in here after work since it is very close to my job. I wanted to pick up some gifts for hubs and my coworkers. As I was approaching the store, a homeless man was outside with his dog, wishing people a Merry Christmas. Not a good first impression. I decided I would pick up treats for his dog while I was shopping. The store was a zoo! Okay, understandable it was the week of Christmas but damn! As I do with all TJ Maxx stores, I browse the handbags. This was probably the quickest browsing I did because nothing caught my eye and there were no bags that were decent designers. It also did not seem as stocked as other locations I have visited. If you have read any of my reviews related to shopping, I prefer to shop with space and peace. There was none of that here lol. I had no specific intentions of what to buy and I was hoping to find some spontaneous great gifts. I wound up finding some basketball shorts for hubs but I was really disappointed with the limited choices and no known brands. I also found minimal gifts and purchased a bag of treats for the dog outside. Unfortunately, the dog and guy were no longer there. Overall, the store was a disaster but I am going to blame that on customers and the holidays. The store was fairy clean and well lit. The staff were good-not bubbly but definitely not rude. I am sure some horrible customers were rude to them so i would not expect rainbows and sunshine lol. I would shop here again but not my first choice. read more

Usually my wife is the one who likes to shop in places like this, but this time I tagged along just for kicks. Normally I only stop by two different departments, home and men's department. I got this crazy and stupid habit on shopping for glassware for whatever reasons. Even we don't have any more rooms in house. And among others are the home accessories which I also have no more rooms for it in my house. And this place definitely didn't help. They do have a large and decent quality merchandises in here which I don't need to buy. What made it even worse is the price point is pretty good too. I am all in for bargains so it's very easy to get carried away. They also got nice stuff in their men's departments too. My wife picked at a couple of shirts and shorts and they looked pretty good on me. And when I see the price tag, it's hard not to pit them in the shopping cart. The only little draw back is the wait on the check out line. Maybe everyone is liking their prices. I see the probability of coming back is above average!!! read more

This is a weekly stop for me after my Publix shopping trips. The receive a small amount of prestige makeup brands (i.e. NARS, Marc Jacobs, Laura Mercier). This is a runway store so that have a decent amount of designer clothing. You can always find last seasons' Fendi, Gucci or Chloe bag. Definitely a good place to stop while on vacay read more

I work in the same plaza as tjmaxx so I'm always in here getting things. It's fairly new, so it's clean and the staff seems to keep it very organized. (Not like a Marshall's or Ross.) I am always greeted with a a hello and a smile. Which is always nice!- They have a good section of healthy snacks, teas and spices. There workout section is great. Ive found so many nice workout clothes there. Prices are reasonable as well. The dog section they have which includes toys, beds, shampoos, leashes etc are good quality and I would rather go here then petsmart when it comes to toys and dog beds. Guy section is not all that, it's pretty small. I think tjmaxx is more gear to us women than anything. Overall, I really like this tjmaxx and since this is the first one I've been too I think ill look for another one and compare the two. read more

This has to be hands down the best TJ I have ever been to! Everything in this store is impeccable, and the variety is out of control. As soon as you walk in the doors, you are greeted by all the "off The Runway" items, and that equals candy shop for moi! Now, the prices are unbelievably discounted, but they are still on the high side for me (it's either car payment or dress) However, I love to see and touch all those garments. They have Dolce, Pucci, Diane Von Fustenberg, Derek Lam, Kate Spade and other amazing pieces. Now, my only complaint about that is the fact that those same garments aren't hung properly or in a garment bag, so you can see a Dolce & Gabnna $599 dress just chillin on the rack like the rest of the clothes, which is a big no no in my book. They have amazing clothes and variety for men as well, which at times is hard to find. The shoes are very varied and they even carry a lot of my size, which is super hard to find sometimes. I have yet to wonder through their handbags section because I will end up buying every single one of them, but I do know it is pretty hefty. I overall love this location. It is clean and tidy. You will not see clothes all over the floor, the lighting is perfect because is bright and it allows you to actually see what you are purchasing; and the staff is very nice. I will be back over and over again, so I hope my husband prepares his wallet hehe. read more

Well, they don't have Men's shoes, which was one of the reasons why I came by. However, my wife came out with 4 new shirts which is more shirts she ever buy out of any one store so I'm guessing that's good. The store is smaller than most TJ Maxx stores I've visited and it is well organized. The prices I did notice to be slightly higher but I could be wrong. It's TJ Maxx - so nothing dramatic. It's a good location (for me) and it's new - so nice, neat, clean and organized. However, the men's section is quite limited - mostly casual wear - ladies will probably fair better. Brand new shop and Best choice for high brands! It's the only TJMAXX in Fort Lauderdale where you can find very luxurious brands like Longchamps bags, Valentino, Diane Von Furstenberg dresses, GUCCI and Jimmy Choo shoes, and so on... The only bad point is the Home choice: really smaller than other TJMAXX but I guess it's on purpose...they focus on fashion and its a good point! They also have a large and good choice of cosmetics! What I love at TJMAXX in general here in Florida is the staff: they are always polite and smiling which is the minimum a customer can expect!!! read more

I usually come to this TJ Maxx on my lunch break since it's close to the office. I particularly like this location because everything is very neat and tidy. The selection is great too because they have a lot of designer brands you don't tend to find at TJ Maxx. "Shontae" the cashier is so rude. Not even a hello. She only asked me if I wanted to sign up for the credit card because she has to. Other than that she did not say a word. Waited in line longer then I should have, on because this one girl seemed as if she was just trying to appear to be busy and wasted so much time in between her customers. Love tj maxx. Lots of great products at this location. But the poor customer service isn't even worth the trouble. Employees refused to sell item they had on the floor. Blatantly refused to sell a bikini because the top and bottom were different sizes so they insisted we find the correct size too. There was no matching top and bottom to be found. The employee made a huge deal about going over to check to see if we were being honest. After searching the rack for ten minutes, she returned and confirmed that there was indeed no matching top (like we had just told her...) she said that they couldn't sell the bikini. I asked if it could be bought as separates and still she refuses. Said that she couldn't sell it as separates right then because there was "a process" that took seven days... not sure if this alleged policy is company wide but there was definitely a better way to relay that info.
