I went to TJ Maxx this morning and when I got to a drive thru about 15 minutes away on the Interstate, I realized that I didn't have my purse and I was sure that I had left it at TJ Maxx in the cart. I called and the person answering the phone looked through the store reported back to me that it was not in the store. Sure that I had left it there, I drove back to the store and walked through it and waited in line to ask an employee if it had been turned in. It hadn't. The manager, Lacie (I believe her name was), walked with me through the store and even enlisted help from a couple of employees to look through the store for it and looked in trash bins and in the rest rooms and went above and beyond to help me in my frenzied state. We discussed doing a police report so that we could watch film and I left the store to determine next steps and called a friend that I had been on the phone with while I was shopping and she reminded me that I had told her that I was also going to go to Ross. I ran over to Ross and asked about it and they had my purse. I returned to TJ Maxx to thank Lacie for being so kind and helpful. I have never had someone be so accommodating and felt bad for the inconvenience that I had caused her. I only had a few minutes and couldn't see her in the store and felt bad that I couldn't thank her and let her know that I had it. She was so attentive and thoughtful. A friend told me that the best thing that I could do for her was to give her a good review and let her know how appreciated she is. So that is what I am doing. TJ Maxx has a golden employee in Lacie and they should be aware of the great customer service she provides at the Riverdale, UT store! read more

TJ Maxx, Riverdale location off Main Street, across from Ruby River, is an upper class outlet store that has beautiful collections of "specialty shops" in one stop. These "specialty shops" have been curated, nearly perfectly, with the customer in mind. These shops carry mostly quality luxe, name brand products at discounted prices. You can expect a clean, well lit and organized store, with fully stocked shelves with everything from designer hand bags, luggage, jewelry, name brand shoes, trendy and classic clothes for everyone from new born up. Houseware, kitchen ware and tools, bed & bath, make up and beauty, unique decor, artwork, metal art, mirrors, toys, pre packaged food, coffee, imported olive oils, frames, small furniture, signs, throws, pillows, mattress covers, candles, pet needs, treats from all over the world, coffee bar set ups, holiday fare, gift bags, gift cards and a whole lot more. I have shopped at TJ MAXX Stores for decades and can always count on finding new, high-end quality and unique gifts, clothing, shoes, decor, etc., here. I could spend an entire day browsing. Staffers always greet me and are generally very helpful. TJ Maxx has large dressing rooms, plenty of parking and a seemingly friendly staff. Today I picked up face serums, hydrating night cream, a makeup bag, a gorgeous Nicole Miller Face Pallet @$6.99, MK sandals, @$49.99 sugar free coffee syrup, gifts for a wedding and a baby shower, the gift bags and I was happily done for the day! This TJ Maxx is often a disappointment. The main reason I pop in is because it is next to Ulta and when I have finished shopping at Ulta, it is an easy next stop. More often than not, the selection is sad. I usually wonder if this particular TJ gets leftovers from the other locations because it seems like a culmination of all of the picked through items of other TJ locations I frequent. On the flip side of that, I have found a few gems here/there. I actually found my best TJ find of all time at this location, so its not all bad. The pet selection here is excellent. It is a busy location that shares a small parking lot with other popular businesses, so parking is often a nightmare. The shopping aisles are smaller than most TJs so be prepared to be a little cramped. However, this is one of the few TJs in the area with a jewelry counter- which is a major plus for them. Their checkout lines, though long, do move quickly and efficiently. They seem to be well staffed so they have many registers open. I also encountered an abundance of staff throughout the store. While there are pros to this TJ Maxx, overall she is still a 2/5 for me. If not just for poor selection, cramped aisles and parking, this is also based on my most recent experience shopping onsite. In my recent experience, I waited an extended at the jewelry counter to purchase a necklace and a pair of earrings from the locked case. There was one lady ahead of me, so I did not feel comfortable seeking out assistance and potentially being percieved as doing so to be helped first. Is that on me? maybe. Was there customer service in this situation? Not really. I watched several employees walk by, including the manager, as both myself and the lady ahead of me waited to be assisted. I saw one set of employees even point over to us and seemingly acknowledge that there were people waiting for assistance at the jewelry counter. Besides loving TJ Maxx and what they have to offer, this specific building is not good. I love cheap prices, but if your products are open, get them off the shelves!!! I'm sick of seeing trails of products all over the isles, it's messy. The workers try, but some of these products spillage are real hazards. On top of that, I understand stealing is common but the way they go after ever single person... yeah it's not inviting at all. I don't want to come here anymore to always be profiled. read more

This store was very clean and well organized when I visited. The purse/handbag selections were nice and included a range from cheap and trendy to expensive mid range designers (Kate spade, Michael Kors, etc.). The jewelry counter staff was SO helpful. Went here to see if they had any inexpensive bathroom towels that would match my bathroom. I found exactly what I was looking for at an affordable price. As far as the store in general, it looked well kept and there weren't many things out of place (as far as I could see). Overall I would definitely stop by here again in the future!! read more
