In a last ditch effort, we brought it to zig zag, as we have used them before and loved them. They were absolutely amazing, kind, helpful, friendly, they said they weren't sure if they could get the ink out, since it was red, but they would try. And they were able to! It was incredible! I asked him a second time and he looked at me as if I was crazy. I didn't like how high he was going to make the hem. I've never been made to feel that my hem preference was wrong. There is something wrong with this person and he made me extremely uncomfortable. I picked up my pants and kept the pants that he was pinning on because I wanted to get out of the store as quickly as I could.
