A few days later, I contacted her to ask about cleaning our home. Two texts later, Savannah (the housekeeper) said ok. Iasked her if we could pay her with a check. Savannah confirms she and another cleaner will be at our home at said date and time. About 4 hours prior to said date and time, Savannah texts my wife's phone and asks if today is still ok to clean. After texting back and forth, just hours before she is supposed to clean, she says "I'm NOT going to clean for less than $5.00 an hour more than I make..." We said we would pay the two of them $40.00 an hour:$20.00 for each and we always tip very well. For example, we gave $40.00 to a gentleman the other day who delivered a new sofa to our home. She also says that they won't take a check. I say, ok, no problem. THEN: she texts, "how many homes do you have"? Huh??? I say "one" that we rent on a monthly or weekly basis (we get $5k a month, so NOT a cheesy home). Savannah texts, "I only will clean if you have 5 condos." I think, "who has 5 condos? Not me! Of course, she didn't have the courage to answer my phone call or show up just hours before she was supposed to. Do yourself a favor and call another company.
