Takes short cuts and will not own up to mistakes on repairs. Cut off transmission cooling line flange on a new part to put on fuel line hose with cheap crimp clamp and consequently the line blew off. Won't return calls to discuss. read more

My family wants to give Jordon and TMC Automotive 10 stars if we could. Sunday morning we left early from the Twin Cities to McHenry IL for a quick and very important visit. At about 6:30 AM we had a blowout on 94 about 3 miles from the New Lisbon exit. We do have AAA RV plus (which I highly recommend) . Jordon from TMC arrived very shortly after the call to AAA was placed. Jordon was very concerned for our safety!! We stayed in the car during the tire change. Note: it was also 5 degeees. Little did we know the temporary spare had an issue. We were then flat bed to TMC. Unfortunately for Jordon the doors to the shop were locked and he had no access. How Jordon removed the bad tire off the Rim and went to a storage area where he set us up with a spare and how he got all this done with limited tools was absolutely amazing . We were back on the road in a few hours and were able to complete our journey that day. Thanks again Jordon and we thank you for your service. read more

had my truck for 2 1/2 weeks for a 4 hour repair. no communication. went to pivk my truck up and found hoses damaged and spliced, coil pack bolts broke, valve cover bolts stripped. mechanic blamed every one besides himself. had to leave truck for coil pack bolt to be repaired. wasted trip when told truck was done. picked up truck next day and talked ro the owner, he apologized and said he would take care of it. said he would replace damaged hoses and bolts. when i got truck home, found tools in engine compartment rubbing on my belt. called the owner and he apologized. took truck back for the repairs and bill was nevwr adjusted. lady inside only wanted to give a $12 discount on parts. would not work with me due to my inconvenience as well as my rides. very poor way to run a business read more

These guys saved us! We were on a road trip in a very old volkswagen van that was literally falling apart on us. We had tried a different mechanic in beloit that replaced our bearings but didn't tighten our wheels at all... These guys fixed the errors of the previous mechanic, replaced the other two bearings, and also replaced our axels, all for less money than the crappy beloit mechanic. More parts, more labor, all for less money! They even let us camp in our van in their parking lot because some parts were slow to come in. These guys were honest, transparent, and friendly. I can't say enough wonderful things about the crew at TCM Automotive. My daughters and I were stranded in New Lisbon when my car's transmission quit coming home to Minnesota. I had the vehicle towed to TMC and they treated us with so much kindness. They allowed us to sit for over 3 hours waiting for ride and then wowed me with their customer service over the next two weeks. I had to wait for my part, but they put my car in the work rotation so it'd be ready when the transmission arrived, they searched for the part with the lowest price and best warranty, and every step of the way I was given updates on the delivery status. It was an expensive repair, due only to the cost of the part- but the experience was so positive that I'm thankful my car decided to die in New Lisbon, so I could be taken car of by TMC Automotive. read more
