I love that, if you need to, you can always talk to a doctor. The office staff is friendly and helpful. We do have to wait sometimes for our appointment time, but this is understandable because the doctors take time to listen and talk with patients when they need to do so. I also appreciate that they are careful with procedures; for example, we were told to wait for ear tubes (and our son grew out of ear infections). They also seem to be careful not to over-medicate kids. I highly recommend this practice.

When we took our then 1-year-old to the Republic of Moldova to do some volunteer work for a year, Dr. Couchman continued to take care of us, meaning our child and our not unreasonable fears being in a country with a very backward health care system. Today, our oldest is in college but visits Mesquite when she is back and our youngest is also a patient there, now with Dr. Gioannetti. These people are superstars.

I never have trouble getting an appointment (even same day!) and as a working mom of two toddlers in daycare/preschool, I couldn't be more grateful. The office is super clean, there are toys and books in the rooms to keep kids occupied (!!!), we are big fans of the "dinosaur room", and stickers/goodies when we leave. Every person I have interacted with has been incredibly kind and helpful, even when I was running a few minutes behind. Beyond this, and most importantly, the care my sons receive from Dr. Lane is unmatched. She places great care in explaining child development milestones and expectations to parents and thoroughly answers all my questions. She is super patient with my boys and I have the utmost confidence in her expertise and recommendations. As a NICU mom and as a mom whose son needed ear tubes due to reoccurring infections and hearing loss at 12 months, I feel so grateful to have found such an amazing doctor who places great importance on providing the best care for her patients. I checked if they accepted my new insurance and it shows they do on my list of providers, then I call to make sure and up date them with the new insurance and was told they did accept it by the resptionist. Next day I get a call that says they do contract with my insurance but because of third party billing they can't accept it. They were so cold about it no other options were given and they just didn't care...just we can't take it! 14 years and I just get "we dont take it sorry". It saddens me that the billing is more important than thier patients. I also went in to get immunization records updated for my new pediatrician when I over heard the receptionist having the same conversation with a person on the phone that she had with me, options about self pay were given. Then she told the other receptionist about the conversation then says I had a mom yesterday get upset about the same thing. The other receptionist said "they really need to check first" I bit my tounge as I was the upset mom from the day before. I did check twice before I was turned away with no other options. If your looking for a warm friendly staff and people that actually like their patients...KEEP LOOKING!

Much better bedside manner, much better aesthetic and vibe, and all the staff seem to actually enjoy babies and children. We love the little touches like growth stickers, stickers given post vaccines, just right temperatures for stripping down babies for measuring etc., children's art, and tiny play area with books and toys. We've received quick responses from nurses when using the message portal, and call backs when we've had more urgent questions. Scheduling has never been a problem, I don't have to schedule out our whole year in advance, they've got great scheduling management. I appreciate how they prioritize science and research when making recommendations for our kiddos. They are not shy about their pro-vaccine stance, which is so nice these days! He came to our home the day our son was born since we did a home birth which speaks volumes about his commitment and character. Then, over time, we ended up also seeing his son, Dr. Callie Jr. who is typically who we always see now. My son is 2 and I will admit I was a little hesitant to have him only see a conventionally trained MD for medical care being that we like to look at things from a broad perspective when it comes to medicine. But Dr. Callie is a father of 5 himself and it's very evident in how he treats my son and examines him (stellar bedside manner). I give very careful consideration to all of his recommendations and medical advice because I trust his judgment as a doctor and father. He doesn't pressure us into anything but presents the information, options, and what he would do. He is great at giving anecdotal stories relating to whatever medical situation has presented itself and he's never made me feel silly for needing to get my son checked out for something, even when he was completely fine. Also vip to mention, Dr. Callie Jr. has never been forceful or intimidating to my son in order to evaluate him. My son is treated with gentleness and dignity at every visit. Dr. Callie seems to be able to meet the patient at their level of comfort (even if that's in my lap the whole time) which is very special.

I explained we go to the hospital and to please gather medical records, said they couldn't provided until the 3rd party they sent my sons bill to was paid. I called them back after talking to.my sons state insurance and they told me to have them bill the insurance. They refused to try to re bill insurance and insisted I must pay cash or pay the 3rd party they sold the debt to. In all this they didn't even address my son immediate need to breath.

The office staff was very sensitive to the situation and helped us work thru the paperwork necessary to have the children seen by Dr. Bianchi. It had been years since we were in a pediatricians office. They have a well area and a separate sick area for patients. Our grandchildren, the youngest, has been to the office much more than our grandson due to her need to catch up on vaccinations. She knows now when we pull up in the car to the office, exactly where we are. Even though she has received numerous shots, she isn't afraid at all, just anxious to go in and play in the well area. The patient rooms are decorated appropriately so it is easy to distract the kids by pointing out the creatures on the walls. Dr. Bianchi and his nurse are very friendly and take whatever time is needed during our visits to answer any questions we may have. They also interact with the kids trying to ensure they are comfortable with what is going on. We have been impressed with Dr. Bianchi's insight into our unique situation with being grandparents raising our grandchildren and his keen insight into our specific grandchildren's needs due to their past situation. Instead of giving out lollipops after the visit, they let the kids pick out stickers. The kids like this and so do we. We feel fortunate to have found the perfect pediatrician for our grandchildren.
