I am a certified trader, registered representative, registered securities agent... This place has turned from what I used to think was a terrific small-town institution into, well, a wasteland for banking excellence. Its frustrating. Service, attention to detail, all levels of communication from this bank have gone down hill. It used be be a bank you could call for help, now....now, its just a faceless institution of squaller. Years ago, a decade ago it seems, NW bank had a web-based system for viewing banking information. It worked well, it was cutting edge to see pending transactions, I repeat years and years ago. The same system is still in use- or so it looks. The interface is antiquated- and when you call for service for this web-platform nobody has a clue. Client-client payments are an impossibility, up to date reporting is moot, its incredibly difficult to navigate- This all assuming you can login. I am bummed about NW bank. I joined as part of a kids club in the early 90's via my parents and grandparents suggestions. I excitedly opened a CD when I was about 12, thinking it would be my ticket to riches. Now, I wouldn't go in for the free stale popcorn. Only one person I would deal with here. Cody on the investment team.

I have had my taxes done there for about 5 years. The woman who does mine is okay, but has messed…read moreup twice either affecting the amount I get back or messing up the direct deposit. I understand there are mistakes, but she didnt take responsibility for the misinformation and tried to make up a story. Plus, every year she charges me more and I am very organized with my taxes. They only have to copy my numbers into their software. I think this will be my last year paying $250 to have my taxes done.
