So I logged onto the State Farm site and signed up for renters insurance. Sharlene promptly gave me a call. She quickly became my new agent. Primarily because she is very polite and professional. I secured a renters insurance plan for only about $8 per month! If my experience had ended there it would have been a 4.5 Star transaction... TRAGICALLY it did not. Since I was also in the market for Auto insurance as well I figured it couldn't hurt to get a quote. I told her that all I needed was the state minimums as I have never been in an accident (Knock on wood). She sent me over a quote for about $80 per month. It sounded about what I was paying for in California so I agreed. Two months passed... I miraculously received my first bill in the mail. It was sent to the wrong address but the post office managed to get it to me anyways. The bill read $145 for the month!!! Good God! My rate had almost doubled! I now owed nearly $300 for two months of auto insurance! I was an idiot and paid it, because they told me that if I canceled then they would have to report it and my rates would go up for not having coverage between policies. 20 days later I get home and check the mail and find a bill sent to the wrong address with my name on it. My monthly insurance rate is now $225.05 for the month! FML!!! 3 months into my plan, my rates have dramatically increased with each consecutive passing month without letting me know why. After a number of calls to State Farm, they still cant send my mail to the proper address. I have never in my entire life had such a terrible experience with any company. Do not do business with them, YOU WILL REGRET IT!

But she never gave me thge number and yet applogized for the insurabce charge, but stil rfeused to provide me with info to investaigte the false filing of a cliam against my insurance. Why bother she satted she would help, but didn't and expected me to hand over my personal phone so she could fix it for me. We had relatives that were repeat customers of Vujovich and knew they had a good reputation. We started working with Ed Roskowinski, the General Manager, reviewing our home design. We appreciated his process during the proposal phase because he line-itemized their prices, making it easy for us to understand where our money was going and how to make choices to impact the budget. Ed was extremely knowledgeable, experienced and easy to work with. He helped us navigate the whole design-build process and the many decisions and budget related items that we had to make. He explained the many aspects of the build process that were foreign to us as we had never done this before. During the build phase, Ed went out to the job site several times, even though we had a dedicated project manager, to make sure the work was being done properly and course corrected when needed. Their staff designer, Beth Malmberg, was great to work with as well. I shared my Houzz Ideabooks and discussed the overall look I was trying to achieve. In our next meeting, Beth had put together selections for the whole house, including paint colors and tiles. I was blown away. She had nailed what I was looking for and 90% of what she had selected in that first meeting is in my house today. She made herself available throughout the build phase to help work through and design decisions where we needed extra input. Creating the house was really a fun process. Beth has a great design eye and helped us create a home that we really love. Paul Grachek, our project manager, was also a very experienced, talented and personable individual to work with. He was extremely responsive to our many on-going requests. He worked very hard to keep the subcontractors on schedule and moving ahead. After we moved into the home in March 2013, Paul was there on a regular basis finishing the punch list. He was like another member of our family. The build process was expected to take 6.5 months and Vujovich came within 2 weeks of their original estimate. As you would expect with a whole house build, a few snafus came up along the way. Vujovich always stood behind their work and went the extra mile to take care of us. We completed the project having an enormous amount of respect for the Vujovich Team and we would highly recommend them to anyone looking to build or remodel a home in the Twin Cities area.
