At the time, I was in DC and needed to find a reliable landscaping company. I found 4 vendors online and 3 gave me estimates. Kevin was the ONLY one to come out to the house, meet me in person and even made recommendations about what else they could do to support my mom and gran. Kevin and his guys are always meticulous, professional and very efficient, even though we have a great deal of land/lawn! Whether it is power washing or gutter cleaning, they always are willing to consider more work and give a very fair estimate for everything they do! Now I am in Boston and I do not worry about the yard, the leaves blocking the gutters nor do I have to think about how much time I would have to spend trimming all 25 hedges, if I came home for a visit because Kevin and his team are rockstars! I just saw Kevin himself, when he and two of his guys arrived the Fri after Thanksgiving, with two trucks, a variety of equipment and sunshine all around. They clearly knew the product was bad because they provided full refund but even the replacement plants are not in good shape. Mike is the person you deal with for issues with plants and he couldn't be more nasty. He even admitted to me they knowingly sold me hundreds of dollars of trees two days before they announced a 50% off everything sale and said wouldn't you do the same in your line of work. My boyfriend went in and the man he worked with was also miserable and nasty. I'm recovering from surgery and physically unable to handle the lawn myself. With weeds getting out of control, I was depending on them to follow through , especially since we're at risk of a visit from code enforcement. After they received our payment, Big Ed's completely disappeared. No job done. No refund. No responses to multiple follow-ups. This is not just unprofessional; this is a scam.
