Toby was an amazing photographer, he took photos for our small courthouse ceremony and again for our main wedding celebration at the SD Safari Park. Both times his pictures turned out so beautifully. He was able to make everyone feel relaxed (I'm usually pretty shy in front of a camera and I thought I was going to end up looking not great), but I was amazed at how natural-looking we all were in the pictures. We also had a relative who is serious/usually doesn't smile much and he was even able to make her laugh and smile for the photoshoot! Toby's prices are very reasonable and he is flexible in accommodating your needs. He was punctual and was able to work quickly and efficiently. He was also efficient at gathering all the family members together for different photo combinations, which was really important as our wedding at the Safari Park was spread out between 2 different locations and we were on a tight schedule. If I could give 10 stars, I truly would. It was thee most magical day and Toby + team truly captured it in such a mesmerizing way. What an absolute gem of a vendor and I am SO thankful we found Toby! I have heard horror stories when it comes to wedding photographers and with that being said, not ONCE did I ever feel even 1% hesitant about how the end final product would turn out. Toby arrived to the wedding venue 25 mins prior to our "official start time", he was so prepared. He checked all our boxes of requests and things to capture. He made us feel so comfortable and confident when we were infront of the camera. His play with lighting and angles was magical. The day of the wedding was purely dark, cloudy, rainy, it was a chance of snow for crying out lout in 38 degrees and dropping, but not ONCE from these photos can you tell how horrendous the weather was up in the mountains that cold cloudy but oh so warm and perfect day! His talent goes beyond photo capturing, he tells a story and the candid photos are my favorite. When it comes to your fur baby, paw parents understand..our fur babies are our world and he is an expert when it comes to getting the pup's attention. Our dog was absolutely posing for all the photos, ugh, just perfection. We could not be happier, thank you Toby and team! Turn around time: next day we received a sneak peak, photo's were turned around within 6 weeks and the video within 12 week's. During the summer month, I call this a WIN-WIN. For the video, worth every cent. Highly recommend DO not pass on adding on video option. The drone footage was chef's kiss and add in the folk music, the video was just mind blowing. We cannot recommend Toby enough! Choosing a photographer was the hardest part about planning our wedding because the photos were the most important thing to us since they will last a lifetime. We wanted them to be great but also affordable. We spent a lot of time researching and talking to different photographers in San Diego County. When we spoke with Toby on the phone, we immediately felt like he was the right choice. He was very easy to talk to and laid everything out for us. He was also willing to make things work with our budget. First, we had an engagement shoot with Toby that I was extremely nervous for. My husband and I are two very camera-shy people and I worried the photos wouldn't come out great due to our awkwardness. But Toby made the entire process so easy and actually fun! I was shocked and thrilled with the way those photos turned out which put me at ease going into the wedding day. On the day of the wedding, Toby came in and got right to work. We absolutely LOVED Tobias! Most importantly, our wedding pictures were beautiful. I seriously would not change a thing about them. Tobias has a really creative eye, and so our pictures looked really unique. When we shared them with our guests, several people raved about how stunning the pictures were. (Not to mentioned we got them back just one week from our wedding. I am pretty sure this is unheard of. All of my friends who've recently been married said they waited months to get their pictures.) After much searching my wife contacted Tobias with a budget in mind and he meticulously planned out what he could offer us... we chose to do our engagement photos , wedding photography, and he also provided us with a full service photo booth ... We hired Image In Love for our wedding in October 2021 (Love Boat Package which included two photographers). Jared and the second photographer were OUTSTANDING! So much fun to work with yet very professional. The two arrived on time to our ceremony site and started capturing moments right away. Once the ceremony concluded, one headed off to the reception site (different location) and the other stayed to take couple's portraits. Both had a clear vision for certain poses/angles/shots, but also asked for our input along the way which we appreciated. Toby who was our contact for the initial consultation was very responsive.
