I was worried it might be too small, but it was just right! I stayed in the loft bedroom's king sized bed and my friend stayed on the queen sized sleeper sofa downstairs. We had perfect timing and got to see the leaves changing color and enjoy the cool weather (being from South Florida these are both unusual!) We cooked some of our meals at the cabin in the well-stocked kitchen. There is a full fridge, stove/oven and a full set of dishes, glasses, cooking utensils and silverware. It got cold enough that we made hot apple cider and lit the wood burning fireplace. It was also nice to have the hot tub to soak in after a day out on the town in the cold. The nearby town of Helen is an adorable Bavarian Alpine Village with great little shops and restaurants. We also drove to nearby Dahlonega to check out the shops and artists there. We were able to go horseback riding at the Sunburst Stables in Clarkesville and we also took a trip to the North Georgia Zoo in Cleveland - I highly recommend both! I can't wait to come back in the summer to enjoy some more outdoor activities like tubing on the Chattahoochee River or boating on Unicoi Lake at Unicoi State Park.

I'm always leery to rent pet-friendly because not everyone has a "four on the floor" policy, however, cleaning beforehand should take care of things. This was not the case with this property. My parents arrived to the cabin on time but we were delayed a day and did not get to the cabin until late Christmas Eve. My parents are too nice and noticed a lot of cleaning issues (glasses put back dirty, fridge cleaned with gross rag, dirty floors, dirty surfaces) but didn't want to complain and also didn't check our bedroom on the second floor (mobility issues). When we got in to go to bed the sheets looked like they had not been changed and had dog hair (or lots of human hair) all over the sheets and pillow cases. The floors were disgusting and definitely not vacuumed as well as the side tables were filthy. I reached directly out to the property to let them know my boyfriend and I would be leaving to a hotel in town but that I wasn't going to uproot my parents and that they would be staying. I never asked for a refund but wanted them to know that whoever is cleaning did a horrendous job (Lorie according to the note) but I received a response from them that we could all go to a hotel and that they were ending our reservation the next morning at 10 am on Christmas morning. My parents are in their 70's and so we had to rush Christmas morning and miss spending it with my brother and his family in order to pack back up to vacate. I have never experienced such horrible customer service and unless you want to be kicked out for reporting something - do not rent from these people. They did credit us back for the night that they kicked us out and I was luckily able to get my parents a room as well (at a premium and more than the cabin). But this cabin was costing us $500 a night...so there was no excuse for a dirty property and bad customer service. Shame on you Mountain Escapes.

Back in October of 25 I rented a cabin known as The Boondocks thru VRBO not really paying attention…read morethat it was a third party rental thru Morning Breeze cabin rentals. When we arrived late that evening the house was cold and dark and even then it smelled of pet odor. The next morning we noticed pet hair everywhere in the return ventilation on the floor, curtains, towels ,blankets ,beds it was nasty. But we had appointments to be at so we said we will deal with it later.Upon our return to relax we noticed that there were only two towels no problem we will just wash them as we need them. The washer and dryer set wasn't working so when we called we finally spoke to the maintenance on call said it's a timer issue as many time before . Sorry for the ramble but needless to say out of three showers in the place the only one clean enough to use was downstairs in the basement area where the heat didn't work. I could tell you about the floaters in the hot tub and the nasty curtains but you can go see for yourself if you wanna gamble Morning Breeze said they were sorry and would be happy to refund 100 $ for the inconveniences I declined . Never learned a lesson that I dint pay for Stay away !!!

I have stayed in Meadow Creek; once. I have stayed in Sunset Ridge once. ( Yes, the road up the mountain is steep and fun if you own a jeep, like we do). Just be careful and you'll be fine. I think we stayed in one other that's not listed anymore on their website. I've come to some of these cabins from Texas. We love Blue Ridge, Georgia area. Mary and Staff have been very up front. They have helped us a whole lot. They are our go to Cabin Rental place when we want to go back around Ellijay and Blue Ridge. Yes, I have stayed in GA using some other places via airbnb, but I also like Morning Breeze as it's an ease to rent from them directly. I don't get some of the reviews about things not working. YouTube it. Then figure out how you can fix it yourself. I've done that a couple of times. Last time I was in Georgia I was on a Creek. The power went off like 2 or 3 times for the week we had stayed. Just open a book and or take a drive. Have fun. Think what our ancestor had to do without all this stuff and unwind and enjoy the quiet. To the employee leaving a review about not getting paid. This is for people who have stayed with them and not a work dispute review page. They shared the email you sent them as their reply. I'm appalled the kind of language you used to tell off your employer. Glad you quit as I would of fired you just by your email alone if you worked for me. That's not the way to talk to an employer. The best part was the 40 foot deck. We had a large family visiting and there was so much room with wraparound seating and a sunken hot tub. Although it slept 7, we easily could entertain 15-20 on the deck with ample seating. During the day our young children played badminton and volleyball out back, they even had a volley ball net set up for play. This had to be the most relaxing vacation I could ever imagine..we will definitely come back and stay at the Oasis!! We had a blast tubing down to Helen and horseback riding...Larry at the office was great!

Blairsville is a small ittle mountain town up near the Georgia and North Carolina state line. Blairsville is home to the tallest peak in Georgia, Brasstown Bald Mountain, part of the Blueridge mountains. There are so many things to do up there (cut down your own Christmas tree at Southern Tree Plantation, tubing, hiking, shopping, horseback riding) and it's just a beautiful town in general. These cabins are nestled on the side of a mountain, right off US19, a main highway in Blairsville. They are in a community of other cabins, but still ensure privacy behind trees and distance. Our cabin was Blackberry Cabin, and it was one of the highest on the property. We have a V6 regular drive Dodge Dakota, and it made it up the gravel road with no problem (after realizing we needed to give it a little more gas than these flat road drivers were used to!) The cabin was fully equipped and gorgeous. We had all the comforts of home plus a wood burning fireplace, and an breathtaking view from the porch. At the entrance of the community, there is a firepit (with pre-chopped wood always stocked), trails to hike along a stream, and fields to play a game of Frisbee if you're so inclined! If you're looking for a safe, comfortable and beautiful mountain community to spend a weekend (or week) at, check out Highland Falls Cabins! You won't be disappointed!

She responds promptly and is always nice. The few times we've stayed with other agencies we've had bad experiences. Glad to say that is not the case with this company. Fish Hook Point is our favorite cabin. Highly recommend!!

But their customer service skills and…read moreattention to detail has really fallen by the wayside...seems they cut corners with the cleaning crew and get nasty when you confront the issues... so we won't be back. Cabin was dusty/dirty and in disrepair, cigarette butts on the porch, and the hot tub wasn't drained from last guests. The kitchen and game room wet bar were infested with German roaches and there were scorpions in the basement bedroom where our kids were sleeping. Called the owner (Diane) and she did nothing... didn't attempt relocate us to another cabin or just offer to refund the cleaning fee.... nothing! When we told her the grill was out of propane, Diane told us to change our plans and get it ourselves because she was too busy. Owner doesn't have the resources for providing clients solid customer service when things aren't right. The cabin we stayed in... Rich Mountain Lodge....is marketed as suitable for weddings. Assuming that you don't want roaches crawling around on your wedding cake (yes, the roaches were really that bad. We couldn't even use the kitchen without them crawling out of the stove or dishwasher).... keep looking. There are plenty of fish in the sea of cabins in the Blue Ridge area.
