Covid had nothing to do with why this company is awful! At first complaint, I talked to Benny, right after the pour. Benny is the quality control person. He was understanding and kind on the phone. He said he would be in the area the next day and asked if he could come look at it... He showed up the next day with Todd. Todd was rude and didn't even let Benny barely talk. He was much taller than Todd and was shaking his head. He even asked Todd if there would be anything they could do to help us. Todd told him they would need a diamond grinder and that it wasn't something they were going to help me with. As they were leaving, I stopped Benny and told him how upset I was about how the was the other man was treating me and that I could tell he didn't think this was fair business. He then told me that was his boss (Todd). Benny said he would talk to Todd and get back to me in a couple days. I didn't hear from Benny so I called. At this point Benny wasn't nice anymore he was rude. We were blamed. I had ordered two cement trucks an hour apart that came 15 minutes apart. The first truck had a new driver that didn't have the confidence to pull onto the property and start pouring it took him over 20 minutes. At some point the truck malfunctioned and stopped pouring cement so I had some of my workers actually crawling up the shoe to pull the cement out because it was getting so thick. All this time the second truck is going bad because it came way too early. I had six seasoned construction workers here that day. All of them work in the business and in different areas of the business. They had never seen anything like this in their lives! Coming from people that do this for a living I didn't have a choice but to absolutely agree with them.I was told that I had ordered the trucks at the same time absolutely not true. Who would do that? Benny didn't get to do his job. Todd came and that was the end of the story . I don't like being talked to rudely by men. I felt intimidated and like I wasn't being heard and I think that's exactly how Todd wanted me to feel. I was told if I talked negatively and reviews about this business that they would contact the law. What a joke! I am a paying customer and have left reviews on their site here on Yelp and will be contacting the better business bureau and the consumer protection. Go with Cemstone. I'm very unhappy with the delivery of our 15yds for pouring the slab on our home. The dispatcher sent the 2 trucks 20 minutes apart when I asked for 1hour spacing. The recently hired driver of the first truck took 25-30minutes to get pulled up to the house and start delivering concrete to the basement due to his lack of confidence. Then his trucks drum assembly started malfunctioning and took another 20-25minutes to get repositioned for the second slab and to get it started delivering concrete again. By this point the other truck which showed up 45 minutes early has mix in it that is going bad and we the customer are being blamed. Don't expect any kind of sympathy from todds if something goes wrong even if its thier fault. The quality control guy (benny) and his boss came out and looked at it while I was at work the next day after we called and complained and they were rude to my girlfriend. I called them again 2 days after that and was threatened with lawyers if I post a negative review about my experience of being one of thier paying customers and told my 15 yd. delivery means nothing to them because they pour thousands of yards every year. read more
