The current options are a $10 donation to shop in their aisle or a free grocery cart of food. Their aisle is 2 levels and has 13 slots per level. This can have anything you mind find in a grocery store. There is a limit per item. You are given a grocery cart to use and do your own shopping to suit your familys tastes/needs. If you choose the free option there is a cart already prepared. Their hours of operation are limited and they do require a one time registration.

I started volunteering here last summer for one of their large events which was a huge Field Day. There were just as many volunteers as children and EVERYONE was having a great time. I cannot imagine the amount of planning that went into having this event go off without a hitch. Anyway, HERO for Children is an organization that seeks to improve the quality of life for children living with or affected by HIV/AIDS. They do this by teaching life skills development, providing emotional and mental support through mentoring relationships, and just making sure that the children have access to a wide range of life experiences. It's great! I have been mentoring with them for less than a year but, I can already tell that this is going to be a long term commitment. If you are looking for a way to get involved, I would highly recommend HERO for Children.

I have been coming to the recycling center for almost 10 years now. It's the only place I know of…read moreto recycle glass (green, clear, and brown) that accumulates from consumption of everyday items. The service is free of charge. It's easy to drive up, start sorting recyclables, and then drive off. I appreciate all the work people do here at the facility to stay organized and keep the property clean. It can get busy on Saturdays but the week is very efficient. This is great service to the community and awesome service for residents in Fulton County. It's a function of the plastics lobby to make you think it's recyclable. 5 6 and 7 rarely have the capability of being recycled. We need to ban packaging that is not 1 or 2.
