The current options are a $10 donation to shop in their aisle or a free grocery cart of food. Their aisle is 2 levels and has 13 slots per level. This can have anything you mind find in a grocery store. There is a limit per item. You are given a grocery cart to use and do your own shopping to suit your familys tastes/needs. If you choose the free option there is a cart already prepared. Their hours of operation are limited and they do require a one time registration.

After the exam, I was told straight up that my dog didn't need dental cleaning, so I could not book the service. I decided to purchase heartworm preventatives using their online pharmacy, but after EIGHT attempts in a month to get the medication, the order was rejected EVERY SINGLE TIME by their veterinarian. Each time the reason was that there was a prescription on file already so they could not approve an order request, but there WAS no prescription on file to begin with. All I can assume is that Pawproject wants my dog to get heartworm infection and die. I hate Pawproject and will report them to the Georgia Board of Veterinary Medicine. Don't go there.

Well-thought-out solutions that do more than offer simple hand-outs. There is education happening here. Job placement. Family support. Access to healthcare and other necessary resources. And yes, food. It's a well organized effort. A well-oiled machine. And there are plenty of success stories to tell. But there is always more to do. You guys know I'm not religious. Sweetwater's success is defined by the service ethic of a fantastic staff and many dedicated volunteers. They could use more help in the effort to help others. I started volunteering here last summer for one of their large events which was a huge Field Day. There were just as many volunteers as children and EVERYONE was having a great time. I cannot imagine the amount of planning that went into having this event go off without a hitch. Anyway, HERO for Children is an organization that seeks to improve the quality of life for children living with or affected by HIV/AIDS. They do this by teaching life skills development, providing emotional and mental support through mentoring relationships, and just making sure that the children have access to a wide range of life experiences. It's great! I have been mentoring with them for less than a year but, I can already tell that this is going to be a long term commitment. If you are looking for a way to get involved, I would highly recommend HERO for Children.

It's a function of the plastics lobby to make you think it's recyclable. 5 6 and 7 rarely have the capability of being recycled. We need to ban packaging that is not 1 or 2.

I have been coming to the recycling center for almost 10 years now. It's the only place I know of…read moreto recycle glass (green, clear, and brown) that accumulates from consumption of everyday items. The service is free of charge. It's easy to drive up, start sorting recyclables, and then drive off. I appreciate all the work people do here at the facility to stay organized and keep the property clean. It can get busy on Saturdays but the week is very efficient. This is great service to the community and awesome service for residents in Fulton County. Thank you for valuing our community and ensuring we all have a place to recycle.
