Best Hair salon of london. They do to your hair exactly what you want, with the best products and techniques. It is quite expensive but it is worth as you have the result you want

Best haircut I've had in London. I've now lived in London for 2 years, and have been to multiple stylists seeking the best cut. I've been sliced, diced, asymmetried, razored, blocked, dissected, pruned, primped and snipped by the best of 'em, but never left feeling like it was exactly what I wanted. Until I met Hiro at Tokito Hair last weekend. This is the guy. (please please please let this be the guy). I've searched far and wide (ok, in Shoreditch!) and left this salon thinking "YES, exactly." First, Tokito Hair is a newish salon on Hackney Road, just off Shoreditch High Street. It is immaculately clean, with sparkling wood floors and a very minimalist aesthetic (white/black). After all, Hiro is the owner and it is a Japaenese salon -- they've got style on lockdown. His style is reflected. It is very clean and straightforward without being pretentious or haughty, whatsoever. I came to the salon about 10 weeks after my previous cut which left my hair uneven (not in a cool way), short in places, long in others and generally just overgrown and in a state of distress. He talked to me for a good 10 minutes about what I wanted, what would work, combed back and forth through my short-ish hair. When I told him I wanted a piece shaved on the side (apparently feeling a bit minxy early on a Sunday) and he advised I take that side very short/tight and then if I like it come back next time and do the shave. I think he was concerned it would be a bit much (probably) but I appreciated his suggestion and it looked great. He then set out cutting my hair. The whole thing took 1 hour start to finish, and it never felt rushed or too slow. He cut, then dried, then cut some more, finishing with some styling...and I walked out feeling like a million bucks (err, pounds) and it was neither too short (often happens with short hair) but in great shape and felt just as I envisioned it. I finally found a hairstylist that can read my mind. We'll call him a hair advisor. Hiro is very talented. I will be back and am hoping this can be my regular salon, as I really enjoy the vibe. Open Sundays, too! *Cash or card. *Special first-time client specials, do inquire. My first cut with Hiro was just £45!

Well presented salon using top products. Keen focus on sharp cutting, I am suitably impressed and look forward to making it my regular.

Unfortunately for Simone and most stylists I usually leave pretty quietly and get used to the hair on my own time.

The woman who ruined my hair never apologized and had a rude, offhand and indifferent attitude towards me. I have had my once healthy hair cut really short, my hair is a extremely dry, frizzy mess. To say I am extremely upset is an understatement. Even though I was given my money back and offered conditioning treatments, I feel that nothing can bring my lovely hair back. And to make it worse the hairdresser who ruined my haiwalked about singing and talking to her friend while I sat there devastated. No, no, Yelpers, I was all smiles. I'm sure this salon is open to everyone, but curly hair is where they really shine. Finding a salon that knows their way around curly hair is FANTASTIC because curly hair has it's own particular biological needs. Not only that, but it also varies in character from day to day, depending on the weather, the humidity, whether you washed it recently, its mood... I was so impressed with how much Maya wanted to understand my kind of curl; not just today, but also in general. She had me pull out my phone and troll through facebook to find good hair day and bad hair day pics. "Oh, I can get your hair curlier than that." she tells me when I show her a good hair day pic. And she totally did. This hair cut made me feel like WTF have I been doing with my hair all this time? It was shaped and layered and styled, and felt light and healthy. I also got some solid tips to take home: 1. Shampoo as little as possible - I knowwww but it feels so good when it's clean 2. Moroccan oil to hydrate - on it 3. A light, non-sticky mousse for hold - a welcome addition to the rotation 4. Diffuse dry upside down, or from below while reclined / laying down on the corner of your bed - oh, hello! Maya and I originally disagreed on the air dry vs diffuse dry debate. I'll fully admit that I'm low maintenance (lazy) and usually opt for an air dry, but I ::loved:: the way my curls came out after drying them ~60-70% of the way with a diffuser. I left feeling amazing and all for a reasonable price. I think I paid ~56 quid for top notch service.
