The broth is of course what tends to make or break a ramen, and the broth here was excellent: nutty, lightly spicy, complex, without being too heavy. Really authentic tan tan men broth here. Not exceptional, hence the 4-star review, but damn impressive. I'd prefer some better toppings (e.g., replace the tomato with something like menma, kikurage, or something a little more authentic).
