Our taxes are kinda complicated but our preparer Nate took it all in stride and was super nice about it. In fact, he even pointed out that some investments I have weren't doing so well and that the return should be higher since the market has rebounded (being a financial idiot has it's drawbacks so it's always nice to hear a professional's opinion). At the end of the appt, when I asked about fees Nate told me that they do active duty military taxes for free. Apparently all Liberty Taxes are supposed to do it, but not everyone "volunteers" that info. What a nice surprise. I definitely recommend this place.

When contacted as to why the returns were not filed, Ms White stated that "it was not her fault, that the returns had got caught up in the system". In a "professional" environment, where a "professional" is contracted to perform a service, that service must be provided and it is the "professional's" duty and legal obligation to ensure that it is provided. Steer clear of this business if you wish your taxes to be prepared and submitted properly.
