Dr Pooley saw me today on a Saturday as emergency because my regular dentist wasn't willing to see me on a weekend. I wanted to thank him by writing a recommendation for him and his office. He was very friendly and helpful and took me out of pain. I am considering switching to him permanently I was so impressed. Thanks again! SW read more

River Valley Dental opened its doors in the historic Landkamer Building shortly after the buildings complete renovation in downtown Mankato. Tom L. Pooley, DDS is an active member of the following organizations: *American Dental Association *Minnesota Dental Association *Minnesota Better Business Bureau *Southern District Dental Society *South Central Dental Study Club

Meet the Business Owner: Tom P.

Dr. Tom Pooley was born and raised in the Greater Mankato area. He was a graduate of Mankato West High School in 1995 then went to dental school at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. He graduated in 2002 with a degree as a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). After graduating he continued his education by completing a residency at the University of Minnesota. Before opening his own practice in June of 2005, Dr. Tom Pooley worked at offices in St. Paul and New Prague, both located in Minnesota. He was also a clinical instructor at the University of Minnesota and at the Minnesota State University-Mankato Dental Hygiene Clinic. Dr. Tom Pooley enjoys many activities some of which include water skiing, downhill skiing, softball, boating, biking, and playing cards. He lives in Mankato and is married to Hilary. They have 2 children, Noah and Garrett.
