This place is probably my favorite business ever to have dealt with. The people are saints, the cooked food is delicious, i.e. as is the uncooked in turn, and the price is very competitive to say the least.
Tom and Jenny really go out of their way to satisfy their customers. I remember when I was in secondary school, we used to go there quite regularly. If I didn't have money on me, they would allow me to pay when I did next. My friend very rarely bought food (brought it in from home) and every now and again, they would give him some for free.
By the way, their spare ribs are divine, and a favourite of mine, the curry-cheese-chip has me salivating here. When I get back to kilkenny in a few hours, they'll be the first place visited (they do see me every time I return).
I know they can also cater for family events. Food such as ribs, goujons, sausages etc. Also lovely, the only downside of their catering food (if it could be called a downside) is you keep eating, and if drinking, drinking becomes a struggle because you keep eating until you can't eat anymore.
