So you're going to call me crazy on this one, but this may be the biggest hidden treasure in Crestview for high-quality food. What makes this gas station different then other gas stations that serve food? Let me snap my fingers in a Z formation and break it down: 1. Tom Thumb is a large convenience store franchise in the Florida Panhandle and surrounding area. This particular tom thumb is next to the corporate headquarters (aka they are being watch and scrutinized MORE than any gas station you can imagine. 2. Even before the recent menu expansion, if you were looking for fried chicken, baby back ribs, potato wedges, or amazing breakfast and sausage link biscuits this place was your go to!! 3. In the last month they have added frappes, smoothies with additional shots of protein or healthy supplements, swirl ice cream and multiple flavors, and coffee options as if they were a coffee shop. This is an experiment by cooperate, and it's WORKING!! 4. The machine they use for frappes is the most advanced thing I've ever seen, just a touch screen menu that the employee pushes & the entire thing is completely made and then as soon as it comes out, it self cleans. And it's QUIET the entire time!! Nobody has machines as advanced as this.... .... except in the movie Terminator.... ... but those machines also killed people so forget that..... 5. I sampled the mocha and cappuccino frappe's and they tasted even BETTER than the big-name coffee chance. If anyone visits Crestview in the future, and you want to know what makes this city different than anywhere else? You have to try out this restaurant/gas station.... you will not feel disappointed but everyone will question your life choices if you tell them you went to a GAS station while on vacation to get some EPIC food!! Worst customer service, EVER. As a long time customer and former Tom Thumb employee, i am highly insulted after visiting Tom Thumb 157 in Shalimar, FL. The management seems unconcerned with keeping product in their equipment and in the store in general. And when I asked about a certain product the assistant manager rudely dismissed me and offered no assistance at all. I may never return to another Tom Thumb. read more

So I bought my last items from your store. I've been going to this store for 8 years as it is by my house. Today I was asked for ID to purchase a cigar. I'm 58 . My ID is expired and can't be renewed until Sept. Due to covid and DMV backed up. The same lady that IDd me has sold me my cigerettes on a daily basis . I go in your store 3-4 times a day. The floor's are nasty dirty. The staff is brisk and rude. No one smile's even. I was treated like they were doing me a favor. The amount of good products available was fabulous. Had everything I needed. The Price's are normal. Gas could be a cheaper. Great store just needs staff that want to at least act like they want to be there but this behavior is the same in ALL the Tom Thumb store's in Crestview Florida except the one by Old Bethel road. IF you love flour that is more chemical than flour then it's fried food is okay. So much MSG in it's fried food that restaurants were closed down. Yet this is a gas station, so it's okay. Just hope you are not taking any blood or heart medicine. read more
