After the first time, I brushed my teeth because I was tired of waiting and I figured a stall would get open after I brushed my teeth. Nope. Stalls emptied and refilled! Had to wait a second time. This Love's doesn't seem as clean as other ones. Maybe it's getting older. And it's also super busy which doesn't help maintain a property's cleanliness. DOG PARK: Be sure to choose a side. Big dog or little dog and close your dog in the one side. I didn't and just closed the outer doors. I turned around to pick up my dog's leashes and they had opened the main gate and gotten out !!! Solid little stop in the middle of the night because I was running on empty in more ways than one. Gas was low, energy low, visibility low. I wasn't sure where to go and I remembered that phrase people like to post in their houses in the wall as a reminder: "Live, Laugh, Love's" If you're saying to yourself "it's LOVE, not LOVES" you're not wrong, but it's fitting so here we are. So there I was; Lo and behold, I happen upon Love's Travel Shop. I stopped, slammed gas and got hopped up on Mountain Dew. Suddenly I can see clearly Now the grime was wiped. I purchased some stickers and kept it moving onto the next few hours of driving. I'm thankful for the staff and had a good experience here. I stepped into the adjacent McDonalds and ate a burger. On this road trip we've seen some scary bathrooms. This bathroom was very nice and clean, and well stocked. Way to go. They also they have showed for the truckers! This particular Love's is a cool enough stop for gas. The gas is competitively priced and the inside has the usual convenience store items and if you are looking for something a bit more substantial than the snacks inside the Love's or one of their roller items like hot dogs, they also have a Subway and a McDonald's on property. The staff was friendly enough and the store was overall a clean and well kept place. Like most truck stops, it also had the usual trinkets for sale. Overall, I would definitely recommend this particular location of Love's. read more

Stopped here with my family to stretch and get gas. Outside there are lots of gas pumps. Inside has the usual convenient store items such as snacks and refrigerated drinks. They had a McDonald's and a Subway attached where you can get warm food. The store area was clean and well lit. The women's bathroom was okay but needs some cleaning up. There were only four stalls and there was a wait. The stall I had was a mess. It had a strong smell of urine, there was a lot of toilet paper on the floor, and there were no toilet seat covers. A positive is that the sink area was clean. There was push button soap and auto paper towel dispensers. read more

Busy travel plaza located close to I-10 in northwest Florida. Gas prices seemed reasonable. There's a huge truck servicing area as well as showers available for the long haul drivers. The convenience store offers many on-the-go food items like sandwiches, salads, wraps, chips, boiled peanuts, and drinks. Tee shirts, sun glasses, and other tourist-type kitsch were displayed on numerous racks throughout the store. The facilities in the store are dated and in need of serious overhaul however everything was clean. Subway and McDonald's are located on the property as well. I saw several employees assisting customers who were trying to locate items. The staff we had contact with were friendly. We were able to get back on the road quickly after filling up, using the rest rooms, and grabbing something cold to drink on a hot June day. read more

We go there just to buy Jerky. They have Robertson's jerky bottled under the Love's name. The cashiers are always friendly. They could do a LOT better keeping the place clean though. We would probably be tempted to buy other things. Or so far though. read more

I always enjoy stopping at Love's because it is usually clean but I am absolutely disgusted at the treatment we received at this location from Joshua Stokes on 4/4/2023 at 10:15 p.m. EST. My boyfriend purchased a packet of peanuts for $0.69, plus tax from a cashier named Alexis and used the bathroom. Then, he went outside to park his truck by the fuel pump and went back inside to purchase $288.88 of fuel from Joshua Stokes. While making this purchase, Joshua rudely snapped at him and said "you better pay for those peanuts, too". After my boyfriend explained that he had previously purchased the peanuts, Joshua refused to believe him and accused him of stealing. Joshua then went to the back and made contact with another employee via his radio to check if the peanuts were previously purchased. Alexis even confirmed that my boyfriend bought the peanuts from her. After twice receiving confirmation that the peanuts were already paid for, Joshua did not apologize for his mistake. As you can see in the video, he remained smug. Instead of trying to smooth over the situation, he made incendiary, racially charged comments and continued to imply my boyfriend was a thief. He even mentioned that he had a Black brother. I am not entirely sure of the reasoning behind this statement. I am very disappointed and I hope Love's takes the necessary steps to discipline this employee for his abhorrent behavior. There are other reviews of this location, one as recently as two weeks ago, that call out his racist behavior and apparently nothing has been done about it yet. read more

This Loves in Mossy Head Florida has become a big joke. The Subway within this facility does not have half of the items on the menu. This has been an ongoing problem for well over a month now. The McDonald's (also within the facility) is usually dirty and very slow in getting orders out. It's franchise is owned by Costa who when called, does absolutely nothing. When I tried to call the Loves Corporate offices, I was led around to 2 different people that were hard to understand and then put through to the Mossy Head Loves again even after I told them that I did not want put through to them again. read more

Since recently joining the "Diesel Club" my perspective had changed somewhat of these roadside truck stops. The diesel islands can be a quite a mess at a lot of the truck stops no matter the brand and if I had to point the finger it's going to be at trucker drivers, no I'm not anti-truck drivers it just that I've seen enough of their behavior to pass judgement without feeling any remorse. Today's truckers aren't the "good-buddies" of a few decades agos their rigs can testify to this - it seems the pride has for the most part is a thing of the past dirty trucks, disgusting roadside manners and a total disregard for those that share the road with them, blame it on regulations, the pay scale, more company poorly trained drivers, their mom and dad the list is endless. So judging from the cleanliness of this Love's Travel Stop I give all the credit to the employees and management team here - this place was spotless and the equipment appears to be well maintained. Diesel is dirty and DEF (diesel emissions fuel) isn't any better, most RV blogs recommend using gloves and an old pair of sneakers when fueling up because of the puddles of diesel fuel spilled around the pumps, it's a real mess and will track inside your RV and stain everything it comes in contact with besides being an environmental problem as well since all of this is washed into the storm water drains. Unless you have an account with these truck stops there is no "pay at the pump" you must estimate the total amount you plan to pump then pre-pay before dispensing. Example I estimated I could pump $225 worth of diesel so I swiped my card for that amount, I actually only pumped $205 so that was the actual amount charged to my card and I picked up my receipt showing that exact amount charged from the corresponding slot at the fuel counter, my pump was #17 so my receipt was in slot #17 of course this requires a second trip inside. If you want a full tank it's better to tell them a higher number or get really good at knowing how much fuel you have when your gauge reads a half a tank or what ever the fuel indicator shows and do the math taking into consideration the fuel price per gallon, my rig gets a little over 7 miles to the gallon so I want to fill the tank each time I stop to eliminate the fueling frequency. Being most trucks are buying hundreds of gallons there is no 10 minute fuel stops a lot of these truckers take their mandatory 30 minute break so traffic through the pumps can be slow. The staff here was very friendly and like others have stated they have just about anything you could ever want including "public showers" thankfully I have never had to take advantage of this perk. All in all this place does a lot of things right and I'll gladly stop in again when necessary and I'm in the area... read more

Easy access when traveling on I-10 from both east and west directions. Right off the interstate, so it makes for a quick stop to get gas, grab a bite, use the restroom, and walk the dog. The parking lot is quite large and is very well lit. It's open 24 hours and I feel very safe here at night. There are a ton of pumps, so you don't have to worry about waiting for one. Considering this is in the middle of the panhandle of Florida, this is one the few places with pretty reasonable gas prices. A McDonald's and a Subway are connected to the convenience store. They also have food items like hot dogs and sandwiches available in the convenience store. They have quite a few items for your traveling needs in case you forgot something at home. They have cell phone charges, car charges, headphones, and other items for your electronic devices. There's a good assortment of over-the-counter medicines for headaches, nausea, etc. You can also pick up DVDs, CDs, and Florida souvenirs here like t-shirts, shot glasses, etc. This place is almost like a mini-Walmart!! All Love's location get five stars with me at all times. This is one of the best stations to stop at while on the road. They cater to your every need. They greet you when you walk in. They have a great store with plenty of doors, souvenirs and very clean bathrooms. They have more gas pumps than you need. I will always stop at any Love's over any other station while traveling on the road. They not only have their own hot food that they cook and sell, but they usually have at least one Restaurant connected to their business, sometimes they have two, one on each side. So happy to find this place! Marked it on our favorite road trip stops for gas, recharging, and a good stop for the pups!! They have a dog park which is such a thoughtful addition for us doggo parents (and it's clean!). We wouldn't eat at a subway outside of a late night gas fuel stop, but the subway was clean and quick. Its funny how they all look almost exactly the same. The bathroom was mostly clean. One toilet had poop smear from some nasty person that doesnt know how to clean up after themselves. I know they give most of them away free to truckers for buyng gas but charging someone 15 bucks for a lukewarm or cold shower is a bit much. It's happened to me multiple times now. Shower was great for me! But customer service from manager on duty Alexa or Alexis was extreamly awful. She was rudly knocking in the door and rushing me. Screaming at me : "normal shower can't take 4 hours". You know, I was traveling around all states. This one is the worst. This is a great place to stop and refresh. However.. 11:20 pm and no coffee brewed in the convenience store. You're kidding, right? I have one of the Love's brand refillable mugs.
