Then I was charged $100 for the visit. I didn't question it because I'd never been to a periodontist before, and I had wrongly assumed it wasn't covered. I found out afterward that this practice didn't take my insurance, a fact that was never brought to my attention by any of the staff when I made the appointment or while I was there! I went to a different periodontist (that I made sure was in-network), who said that I might not need a procedure at all and recommended a conservative plan of at-home treatment. Cost for visit: $0! Dr. Werkmeister and his staff couldn't be better, in my opinion. My hygenist, Jessica, does a great job with my cleanings and explanations of what she's doing. Dr. Werkmeister made me feel ten times better during my last visit, further explaning my health's status, specifically now after having had a deep gum cleaning earlier in the year. I am always anxious with my gums, and that has nothing to do with this office. He said "There's good news and more good news." Hearing that, and realizing that there's a good chance that I won't have to have more gum grafts anytime soon, was the biggest relief I've had in a while. Their rates can be on the pricier side, but with the work they do, it makes sense. Not once have I felt that "finger-pointing" feeling at this office, and also, my gums are now in much better shape than from just a few months ago. Highly recommended.

In all my years of having dental problems Dr Foronda is by far the best I have ever been too. Dr foranda has two locations but I like this location the best as it is easier to get to for me. Dr Foranda's staff are all amazing and the facility is beautiful and well maintained. A periodontist is a more educated oral surgeon. So if you need any type of extraction or implants then you want to see the best and the best is Dr Amber Foranda. Dr Foranda is always super friendly and extremely nice. Then I called them back again and she sounded even more annoyed that I called this time saying that the doctor wasn't accepting all insurance anymore and I said yes I understand that, I talked to you and I confirmed that this was in network.
