The admin staff are friendly and welcoming, the office is very clean and tidy and the medical team is courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. I've worked with the orthotist to have some braces fitted for my back and my knee. Derek, the orthotist is super helpful, kind and explains how the braces work and how they will help you live a more full life. My most recent visit was due to a bad fall I took, unknowingly breaking my ankle. They got me in the same day I called and informed me that I needed a metal plate and screws put into my ankle for stability and healing. I was scheduled for surgery shortly thereafter and Dr. Margiotta is super. He is friendly and open to questions and thoroughly explains everything. The MAs are great and help you move through the process of getting the surgery set up, COVID testing and everything else you need to know before and after surgery. I highly recommend this practice if you are having any issues with your feet or if you might need bracing/splinting or are having other issues.

Instead of assuming they could have called. From what I could tell they assume information instead of verifying the accuracy of information. In regards to quality of care well I can only assume it's equal as their assumptions. Also they don't take Medicaid of centennial in case you have that insurance. on in all I felt like I had to advocate for myself to get an appointment.

I ended up having complications but they were nothing that could have been predicted nor prevented by the doctor nor the staff. I am an especially hard stick when it comes to my IV lately and am waiting on a port. The anesthesiologist, Dr. Chen, was able to assist with an IV in my wrist. It was painful yet very affective and got the job done! Dr. Saad, the GI specialist performing my EGD, was not very friendly nor did he explain the results. Instead I vaguely remember him giving the info to the nurse to give to me when I woke up so he could leave. I remember waking up and wanting to be like, "It's okay to talk to me. I'm not scary. I'm just a person too." But he still did a great job and I appreciate his work!

I received tremendous care and guidance by first-rate therapists who sincerely cared about my recovery and worked with me to accomplish all my/their goals. My surgeon moved to Santa Fe and another hospital system but I'm planning on having him perform my otherTKR in early 2024. I'll be returning to Southern for my PT, no doubt about it! And I'm headed back to Southern shortly for neurological PT to help with my neuropathy-causing falls. I'm confidant I'll receive the same exemplary clinical care. Get everything in writing with this one. Called me a week prior to the re-scheduled surgery appt date to tell me the cost jumped from $650 to $1000. Mind you, this was after I got it in writing at re-scheduling to make sure all went right from there on out.
