I didn't think it was a store for a young lady, I thought it was a store that sold mostly black pants and turtlenecks. As I followed my sister into the store, I realized I had been wrong all these years. I was pleasantly surprised at the wide selection of clothing hanging from the racks. Yes, RW & Co. does sell black pants and turtlenecks, but they also sell much, MUCH more. And it's not crazy expensive like I thought either! They've got everything from jeans to hats, dresses to jewellery, and their prices are comparable to Banana Republic and Club Monaco. Plus they use recyclable bags, which is a nice touch, unlike their competitors who continue to use plastic. I ended up leaving the store with a super cute pair of jeans in hand, along with the environmentally friendly bag, of course! Like I said, I was pleasantly surprised with my most recent experience at RW & Co. and I no longer plan to be a stranger.

They've got so many different shoes to choose from, it's actually a little overwhelming. I'd say about of the store is dedicated to ladies shoes, leaving the other for the men. I, being a woman, happen to love this fact. I like having a good variety of shoes to choose from when I'm shopping for something. For the most part I would say that the shoes are way too expensive. I mean, some of the shoes merit a high price, but others it just seems ridiculous. Most of the time the shoes are a little too expensive for me, and just pass the acceptable rate that I'll spend on a pair of shoes. A good thing is they have some pretty good sales sometimes, reaching up to 50% off, for example. I don't find the staff of this place to be all that helpful, or maybe they just don't seem that eager to be helpful. Whenever I've asked for a size, it seems like I'm asking for something so unreasonable they can't believe I've said anything. This has actually happened to me a couple of times, so I'm not just crazy. The shoes are nice, but the prices are high; the store is cool, but the workers appear rude. I can't decide if the good outweighs the bad or not...

So my only choice is to get dark navy blue cloths and improvise. I came to Ricki's and at first glance, I didn't see what I needed. After talking to the sales person, who was super helpful and helped me find a pair of pants. Yes, that worked. Now, I just need to hunt for a top. Great service! The store, Ricki's is always clean and neatly organized. They periodically have items on sale. Great store. I ended up signing up for their membership card. The store is located inside Core Mall downtown.

Pricing is much better than store location but styles are usually a year behind. Overall great value and location is central for Calgary. Highly recommend for kids clothing for price and selection.

Parking has been no problem whenever I've gone, though I tend to go in the evening. I find this store easy to navigate, and the racks tend to be organized/well looked after. The few times I've been here I've found it to have good selection and I have always been able to find my size in what I am wanting. The staff here seem helpful and the do offer to grab alternate sizes if something doesn't fit when you're trying it on. I find Gap Factory clothes tend to fit a bit different and have different cuts and material qualities than original Gap (I actually googled this and see that Gap Factory clothes are made specifically for Gap Factory only), and I find some things are better than others when shopping at Gap Factory.I tend to find myself heading to the factory store if I need some basic tee's for layering, jeans and cardigans.

She didn't offer a hand or ask if I needed anything. In fact, she came out of the back when I came in, stood there for a moment, and then went immediately to the back again. I don't know what her deal was, but it was very unprofessional. I'll admit that they had some really nice shoes there, but I couldn't even believe the prices! They were waaay over-priced for what they were. I saw some flats there, which barely consisted of anything, that were still $115. Does that seem ridiculous to anyone else? Even the baby shoes were $60. Not only were the prices outrageous, but the selection wasn't that wide. They had one wall full of boots and such, and a tiny stand in the middle of the place, but that was it. For the size of the store, and the amount they charge, I would expect the selection to be greater. Two thumbs way down for this snooty, expensive, not-so-great shoe store.

I browsed around in here for about 15 minutes before I finally realized everything was out of my budget. I couldn't find one piece of clothing for under $100. Okay, that's a lie. I think there was a hat for around $50. But still. I didn't even find the clothes in this store to be that nice. Everything seemed a little outdated or at least not very modern. To each their own, I suppose. It's been a while since I've been stalked and eye-balled by salespeople when I'm perusing a store, but sure enough, it happened here. One of the ladies followed not two feet behind me the entire time, watching what I was doing, but never offering a hand. I mean, I may not look like I'm 30 years old, but I certainly don't look like a teenager ready to shoplift whatever I can fit into my purse. I was extremely insulted and definitely uncomfortable while shopping here. One cool thing about this place is that they do in-house tailoring to all their clothes. You can't bring something from a different store and have it altered, but they'll change any article of clothes you buy from their store. That sets them apart from most other clothing stores. If you're going to have a look in here, make sure you check out their secret lower level. Okay, it's not really a secret since anyone can go in here, but it's somewhat hidden behind racks of clothes. There's actually a whole separate section to this place that seems like it could be a totally different store. And yes, the aforementioned salesperson followed me down there too. So, to sum up: too expensive, not my style, un-trusting and not very discreet salespeople. Not my forte.

I automatically felt that the kind of clothing carried here was not my style or age group. I browsed the jewellery displays for some earrings, there is a lot of displays around the store, most earrings went for $140. I found some "Hollywood" accessories, like invisible tape, tag tamers and commando liners. All of these went for $20 or so, which is over priced for sure. I looked at the shoes I was interested in initially, but looking at them in person and the price, I wasn't so interested anymore. I browsed around a bit more. I found a great leather belt, for $130, eep. I did find some clothing pieces that were very beautiful, so I will admit that they carry things for women of different ages. This place is expensive, but they have a huge stock of clothing and accessories, all top of the line. It is somewhere to check out if you have money to burn, very quickly.
