I had a unique job to replace a pool deck for a home I purchased. For some reason, previous owners…read moreinstalled concrete tiles on top of the original Kool Deck (it was water proof and looked nice, but way too slippery and dangerous for humans and pets when wet). I asked two companies to see what my options were. One company said they would get back to me, and did not. The other was Kevin, who personally came out to see the job and straight up told me the only option was to rip up the tiles due to nothing being able to bond to the tile (and also added he had never seen this surface put on a pool in his 30 years of working on pool decks). Kevin was very prompt, up front about what costs would be and gave me a great price on also adding a rail to the project. With each phase of the project, we were able to communicate what was found under the tile, answered my questions about potential add ons (new drains), costs, how it would potentially affect other aspects of the area (screened in cage) and time it would take to do so. He also took to the time to give me potential pricing on other concrete issues I have on the property.
