The service is friendly, the atmosphere is cozy and warm, and the price is more than fair. I'll put it this way; it was a small handful of dollars more than I would have paid at one of the famous salon chains, at which I would have received a significantly less appealing cut. I am happy to say Hamburg Barber Shop is going to remain my go-to place for haircuts and maintenance. And the next time I make an appointment, I'm getting myself a shave! My son is 16. Up until his visit here, he was constantly wearing a durag day and night. School or work. I just thought it was part of his style, as he does like the hip hop culture from music to clothing style - he mixes that in with his own spin on it. However, after his haircut here, he hasn't worn it since. So I take it as he really liked his haircut! As his mom, I always want my son to be comfortable in his own style and never tell him not to wear the durag but I missed seeing his hair! Just as I would miss seeing his eyes if he wore sunglasses 24/7. I am glad this barber gave him a cut he felt confident to show his hair in again!
