I chose the Express #2, a $12 wash (included repel shield, underbody wash, tire shine, and a conditioner) on the day I visited. It's winter in Iowa--'nuff said. The lines weren't super long and moved fast. They have three lines for customers (one is reserved just for customers with monthly memberships). The process of selecting your wash and depositing your payment is entirely self-serve, but they do have employees working during business hours to make sure things are running smoothly. We were impressed with the wash. The brushes are huge and really get into the nooks and crannies of your car. Warm water is used during part of the wash process. The back of my car didn't get dried well, but it wouldn't stop me from coming back. They offer complementary vacuums (you can only use the vacuums if you've gone through the wash), but a large portion of them weren't working. We literally tried 7 vacuums and none of them were operating. Boo. They run continuously (I think) and I found it unusual that no staff person was outside checking on them, 'no out of order' signs were posted, etc. We weren't planning to use the vacuums at all, but because they were free we thought we'd given them a try. We encountered a couple of employees and both were very friendly. Super clean parking lot (hopefully it stays this way). Monthly unlimited plans start at $19.99/mo and can be used at any location across the U.S. Ultimately 4/5 stars because half of the vacuums weren't functioning. Will be back.

Tommy's also includes Matt washing machines as part of their package. When I decided to cancel my membership and move to Tommy's Mister Charged me for a month of services and then denied me access to the car wash! They even sent me an email informing me that I had until the end of my billing month to use their services. This wa a lie & constitutes theft! Take it from me & avoid this place!

My experience with Westside car wash was VERY disappointing…read more Like I always do when washing my cars,I prefer to do it myself with the wands & brush which means I put quarters in and the timer starts.. Only I'm NOT 100% certain but I guess I'm going to have to bring a stop-watch should I EVER visit this buisness again.. Why up may ask? Because it's my opinion that their timer us a might fast... That and the "wax wand"? Yeah..its almost like there's a problem with the pumps .. Pressure comes up good for a couple seconds then drops where it barely comes out then back up and back down like a roller coaster. It took a total of almost 20 dollars to was my mini van.. Ok I can hear someone saying either AND?? or maybe,what's your point? Well my point is this it USUALLY takes only $10.00. So yah there's something deffinately not quite right with that car wash.
