I explained I had mud and showed them what spots needed proper cleaning, came back to my car looking the same and smelling like vanilla. Absolute waste of money DO NOT GO HERE. I take my car to this Mister Car Wash frequently. I always receive great service and excellence with my car whenever I go there. I have one of their refillable car wash cards, which is very handy to use. I usually get a deluxe car wash and one time I had them clean the interior of my car as well. I have never not been satisfied with the washing of my car at this Mister Car Wash. I have found that the deluxe car wash is the best one to get and the car wash conveyor belt does a good job of taking my car through. I always like watching all of the beautiful colors in the car wash being illuminated by light on the water. One time I went through the car wash and when my car came out it wasn't completely clean, and they gave me another deluxe car wash for free...very nice! Overall, excellent car wash! read more

I just freaking love this place! For $35 and 20 minutes of my time, my car gets cleaned inside AND out. I knew that my car was getting pretty gross and after weighing out the difference between doing it myself and letting the pros take care of it, I know that I made the right decision. My car looks awesome! The customer service is always great too. The staff seems to be pretty regular and the supervisors always appear to be strong leaders that take good care of their team. I was met by an employee who's main concern was to get me to give extra money as a tip before anything had been done. When I asked how would I know If anyone deserved a tip he says well, you done have to tip. He did not like my question. As I pulled up to wash NO ONE sprayed the bugs on the front of our van. Didnt even look our way. When we finished several guys were there DOING NOTHING but no one touched our car. Not even our mirrors. Never again will we use Mister car wash. I purchased the platinum service which was $42 then $4 for mat clean. Then the attendant asked if I would like to leave a tip Which I did but shouldn't have. I was not satisfied with the cleaning. Back end was not sufficiently cleaned. The back of the rear view mirrors still had bugs on them. We have 3 memberships and earlier this year and after getting a new vehicle they replaced the sticker and created a 4th membership- did not realize it because it was put on a different card and I was overcharged for 7 mos for $247.10. 3x contacting them regarding this. They have replaced "defective stickers" at least 6x. Went in person to discuss with the local manager and the regional manager was there and they said they "tried" to fix it but I needed to call corporate myself. Sat in the MCW parking area in my car and called corporate while the manager was watering the grass and could see me the whole time and never acknowledged me. On the phone with a nice guy @ corporate for at least 30 minutes and he said I would not owe 1 of the monthly payments for 7 mos (as a refund) and I was ok with that, however here we are 1st of the month and no credit on my account and I am being charged for all 3 memberships. Our local small claims court cost $95 to complete the grievance form, so that is what I will do. We love the locations and the service for Mr Car Wash, but they can blatantly rip you off with no apologies, no follow up - they don't care. read more

I want to be clear that the workers at my local Cedar Rapids car wash have been great. I am upset with the company policy that a gift card cannot be applied toward the reactivation of an unlimited car wash plan. I received a gift card for Christmas and attempted to use it to reactivate my old account however I was told company policy does not allow that. I do not understand why a gift card cannot be applied in any way I choose. Other car wash companies allow this. It is very frustrating that I do not have the right to choose how my own gift card is applied. I would certainly not recommend purchasing a gift card at this company. read more

Sincerely, I have no idea how your washer works (you also denied sharing me the camera footage).But remember ITS MY CAR & I'm pretty strong knowing every inch of it since i take utmost care all the time. Mister Car Wash used to give excellent service. However, over the last few years they have gradually evolved into a below average service provider. The car wash itself does a good job, but there were times when I would catch them only doing wheel conditioning on the drivers side. Their excuse was that when they were busy they didn't have time to do a thorough job. Now they have discontinued wheel conditioning all together and it is the manual drying that is done half way, only doing a good job when the driver can see them. Now they are discontinuing their weather guarantee. It's like they meet regularly to brainstorm ways to further reduce the quality of their service. Go to Sparkles on 1st Avenue in Cedar Rapids. I bought a carwash membership from them almost 2 months ago and at first i loved it! it does a great job making sure the outside of your car is sparkling! but today i got my inside done for the first time. cost me almost $30 even with the membership and i was NOT impressed. after i got my car back i noticed there was still dust all over the window panel. the seats weren't vacuumed, under the floor mats weren't vacuumed and scuff marks everywhere. would never recommend going here for cleaning the inside of your car i could have done a better job myself. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE FOR DETAILING! It's overpriced and a was a terrible job.... when I picked up my car, there were still salt stains on the carpet, lots of dog hair between the front seats and consul, and dirt/soil on the back seats!! I have taken my car here for washes several times, and they have done a decent job. I needed my car detailed, both on the inside and out, and called Mister to make an appointment. I was told I needed to bring the car in, which I did. We look at the inside and outside, and I was quoted $189 and change. I brought the car in for my appointment, and immediately, there was some confusion as far as the services that I wanted. I told the woman at reception that I wanted a full detail and was quoted $189. I dropped off the car, and received a call a couple hours later that it was ready. More than an hour after I receive the phone call, I came to pick up the car... I noticed right away that it had not been waxed, and there was still dirt on the tires. Then I opened up the car, and saw the dirt on the carpet and seats. The manager eventually came over, and explained that they're not a full-service detail center... And that they were a car wash that does many details. I wish they would have told me they were not a detail center when I was given the price quote!!! One of the young man on the staff spent about 30 minutes cleaning the inside of the car... He said he didn't work on it originally, and agreed that it was a lousy job, and that he understands why I am disappointed. I won't be back for detailing or for carwashes, and strongly recommend that you don't either. read more

The wash job is pretty good, but without anyone drying it there's always dirt on the bumper afterwards. Also, I've had 2 vehicles damaged in Mister Car wash locations and both times it has worked out to where MIster Car Wash says it wasn't their fault or they couldn't see anything in the cameras so there's nothing they can do. The damage has been surface level scuffs and all it would have taken is a quick buff job to remove them, but they choose to claim their are not liable. The only thing they have going for them is location and speed of service. read more

Easily the best car wash in town. I'll tell you... the kids were cleaning the interior of my car and they broke off a piece of trim. The kid and manager spent over half an hour trying to put it back on... they gave me a complimentary wash. I was honestly really upset but after trying different car washes in town, nobody gets your car as clean as these guys. Plus there's free popcorn inside. Good people, just an honest mistake busting my trim. If you know your car has a weak spot, make sure you point it out because these guys will actually clean your trim. read more

My review is specifically about company policy, not the people I have interacted with at the actual car wash. I have always found all of the people at our local washes extraordinarily nice and professional. However, I found out today that there is no way to use a gift card towards the monthly unlimited car wash charge. I received $100 gift card for Christmas and was planning to use it for the unlimited monthly plan. We have been loyal customers and even had two separate unlimited monthly plans as they do not provide any sort of family plan to give a savings to multi car families who bring all their cars to the wash. I was told today that the gift card could not be used toward the monthly plans which seems strange that I cannot apply the money any way I choose. Unfortunately we will be asking for a refund and take the money to a different car wash that does allow gift cards to be applied toward monthly payments. Again, I appreciate how nice the people who work at the car wash always are, I just don't appreciate this policy. read more

After paying a hefty 35$ for what we thought would be a premium car wash was a complete waste. There were so many bugs in the front of the car, the outside mirrors also had a tremendous amount of bugs. The inside- no attempt was made to wipe the dash, the insides of the doors, the mats were put back hap-hazardly, I will NEVER go back. The young man was eager to accept our tip. Absolutely no sense of concern that the car was really not completed even satisfactorily. Doesn't anyone even have a sense of pride anymore? Really a very sad experience. This location damaged my mirror paint by the attendant getting to close to the mirror with the high pressure wand trying to remove dead bugs. The manager said they would review the video to determine pre-existing damage but after a few days of waiting, they declined any responsibility and also said their cameras do not capture the mirrors. He pointed me to a door that said employees only and got the manager(?) out from behind his desk so I could have a conversation. Gift book for $80.00 for 4 washes (outside wash only!!) or out of pocket payment for six month trial. Way to expensive for my taste plus was not impressed at all with the manager(?). I visited Mister Car Wash yesterday to have the interior and exterior of my car cleaned before taking my brother for surgery. I bought the premium package for $40 and to say I was dissatisfied with how my car turned out is understatement. After the "wash", my car still had full tree-berries on the trunk, dirt and sand on the seats and floor mats (that I paid extra to have cleaned), and bird poop on the front and back windshields. The topper? I had change in my car that was STOLEN. I will never visit a Mister Car Wash again. What a waste of my money and time. read more

This business takes no responsibility for damage it's equipment does to your vehicle. We just purchased a brand new $75,000 Tahoe, owned it two weeks and it has been scratched to hell. I have videos and pictures and they want to say they are "closing and declined" the incident. I've talked to Danielle, supposedly one of the managers in person and on the phone and she took pictures of the vehicle. Danielle also wanted to try and tell us that "oh the dealerships scratch them and we didn't notice", NO! We checked it over top to bottom as we had it ordered in. I'm now given a head quarters number to call and dispute with. I'm not some low life looking for a freebie, I just want my vehicle fixed. This is the shadiest business around, complete trash. I took my son's car to Mister Car Wash this past weekend. What a horrible experience!!!! I got the most expensive wash because the girl who sold it to me said they'd clean out the cup holders and everything. Great! I paid $35.00 and expected a great experience. NOPE! First, I had some garbage in my doors. I asked if I should take it out or if they would do it, they said they'd take care of it. So I went inside to wait while they vacuumed it out and sent it through the car wash. When it got to the end and they were wiping it out, I saw the garbage in the doors! I went out and told them the guys at the beginning said they'd clean it out. That I'd offered and they said they'd do it. So the people wiping it off, cleaned the garbage out of my doors. I thanked them and got in my car and drove across the street. When I moved my purse off the seat, I saw that it was filthy as well as the backseat! The same man who told me they'd take the trash out of my doors hadn't vacuumed the seat! I went back and told them about it and they vacuumed it. The tires were still dirty and there was still bird poop on the door as well. I called and spoke to the "manager" to complain and ask for my money back. He said to come back and he'd take care of it.
