The staff is friendly specifically Christoph with the red bun. The menu is extensive and features diner style food. It is really cheap and tastes delicious. I definitely love the homey atmosphere. Service staff was very friendly and attentive. The decor is also very interesting, lots to see around you - like a mix of 50s diner and Art nouveau style decor. So this is a highly recommended place if you're ever in Darmstadt. Great food, atmosphere, and service :) 4/5 but I take out one star because the menu/Speisekarte was very difficult to read. It took us so long just to figure out what to eat. Perhaps that's just part of the "café chaos" theme? Otherwise, everything about this place is great!!!

Say what you will about this hotel…read more.. I enjoyed it very much. 1) Great breakfast. Big breakfast and lots of options. 2) Great service. 3) Clean rooms and very comfortable. 4) Have stayed there several times. Will stay here again next time I'm in town.
