The owner, Steve, generously spent time with us explaining the virtues of each species of wood, and how each type cooks and pairs best with different foods and cooking methods. He was familiar with our pizza oven, and steered us to a different size wood that he thought would perform better in our oven. He was RIGHT ON. We contacted JBS Tree Service over two months ago, and they came out promptly to provide us with a…read morevery reasonable estimate to trim our arborvitaes and remove a tree when they were scheduled to do our neighbor's yard. Although they completed our neighbor's property on 5/15/26 and initially did not do ours, I left a message expressing my disappointment. To their credit, they came back the very next morning at 8:00 a.m. and did a beautiful job. Our arborvitaes have never looked better, and you would never even know a tree had been removed. They were unable to grind the stump because of the Belgian block surrounding the area, but they cut it so cleanly that you can barely tell it is there. Overall, we are very happy with how everything turned out and truly appreciate the quality of their work.
