Worse experience of my life. They lost my keys to the car and when I try to talk to them. They hung up on me and the collision company and had really bad customer service. I went to there and ask about the keys .look for them. Its so easy to misplaced them. They called cops and said im causing issues. The other guy gave me 200 for the key. That right there show there guilt. And looking at the other reviews, they loose keys alot. Dont do business with them. They are rude . They dont take responsibility or accountability for there shortcomings and they blame everyone else. read more

Would not recommend this towing service. There was an incident involving a vehicle that was towed, and the experience was very disappointing. I spoke with an employee named Rick regarding missing keys, and he denied that the company had lost them. I also found his attitude to be unprofessional and unhelpful throughout the conversation. Based on my experience, customer service and accountability were lacking. read more

Whoever runs this place doesn't seem to care much about the company. My car was towed here after an accident but when I tried to get in touch, the gates were locked during business hours. I called the number listed and didn't get an answer but he quickly called me back saying he would come over soon. I guess sitting at this unfortunate looking location all day would be horrible so I understand that. The man was nice and friendly. I did get to my car after waiting a few minutes so that wasn't the worst thing but just the awkward experience and lack of care for this place makes me not want to ever recommend it. read more

Terrible communication, scammer. Dropped my vehicle at a mechanic but was charging me daily (without informing me this was what was going to happen - apparently there was some deal that the mechanic was 'storing' vehicles in their property for this guy) while it sat for weeks at the mechanic waiting for the mechanic to even look at the vehicle and tell me what was wrong! As far as I was concerned the vehicle had been released to the mechanic, the mechanic even had the keys. They informed me after the fact that wasn't the case and that I was being charged this daily storage fee by the wrecker - even though I was at the mercy of the mechanic taking his sweet time to look at the vehicle! Ended up paying eight hundred dollars (negotiated from 1200) when I didn't even know the wrecker was still involved. Rude man, hung up on me while I was speaking several times. Would give zero stars if I could. read more

Failed to show after supposedly dispatched by AAA for over two hours! Told twice that tow truck driver would call to confirm his status. After third promise he called and was supposedly where Tom's claimed to have been over an hour earlier! Took another 30 mins after he said he was 10 mins away. Can't imagine why a reputable organization like AAA has any association with this company. read more

"Tom" is rude and very unorganized. Picked up my car and keys at the time of the wreck. When a tow truck from my insurance came to get the car Tom informed them that they couldn't find the keys. Then told the driver to just take the car and the keys were on the floor board of the car. The driver looked there for the keys, then called me about the key issue. I called "Tom" and Tom hung up on me insisting that the the keys are in the car. TWO more people looked for the keys before "Tom" called miraculously finding the keys in his office. Should be able to rate in the negative!!!! If they show up - REFUSE THEM!!!!! Tom's is on the rotating list of tow companies in Duncan, Lyman and Wellford. Tuesday they towed my car after my sons accident. They didn't ask where it needed to go and took it back to his business. Yesterday, I called to get the amount owed and they told me an amount and I said I would be over to pay. Once I got there, some lady came to the gate, wouldn't let me in until I paid in full and $70 more than what I was originally told - CASH ONLY!!! All while she was purchasing a dog for her kids from some guy on a scooter. I left, got cash, brought it back and she said she can't make change!!!! I said you're a cash only business how can you not make change? She said that she is not allowed to keep cash on site. Then she changed the price AGAIN!! Then, the guy with dog comes back with some "questions" for her. I also had to pay a "storage" fee and she kept saying it was for two days. I showed her the police report and then I questioned how she was coming up with her charges. By the end I was told 5 different amounts and my receipt only shows the tow fee so when I get reimbursed by insurance I will not get the full amount. I called to get them to fix the receipt but they wont. I have filed a complaint with the BBB, SC Consumer Affairs, City Council and also called the police chief. read more
