First, I should say, I called very last minute the day before mother's day to place an order and despite that he was so kind and helpful. I had been trying to find a place and everywhere else was closed or wasn't answering. The fact that he answered my late call and didn't sound rushed or short during such a busy time speaks volumes of his professionalism and wonderful personality. Abel discussed options and availability with me and his services were so reasonably priced. The bonus was Abel telling me he would text a picture of exactly what he would be sending for me before it was delivered. No other floral delivery service has ever offered that. I said yes, those and green hydrangeas and roses. He repeated it back to me and I said yes. I got a picture of the flowers from my MIL and they used ORANGE gerbera daisies instead of the stargazer lilies. When I called him and said that there weren't any stargazers like he had discussed, he first said I don't remember anything about lilies. Then when I pressed it and repeated back the conversation we had about them, he then said well it wasn't done maliciously. I told him I think this is bad business. He repeated himself that it wasn't done maliciously and he could exchange the flowers my MIL had already received with lilies. Surprised that there was no apology given and that he wouldn't automatically compensate me for their mistake, given that my MIL's bday was yesterday, I told him never mind. I spent $77 on an arrangement of flowers that looks like the $25 bouquet at the local grocery store. A small glass vase doesn't cost over $45. And I live in another state, otherwise I would have bought grocery store flowers for my MIL.
