From the very onset of our working relationship, Thomas was easy to work with - sending a variety of choices for the menu spanning the full breadth of French cuisine and offering the ability to appeal to every type of pallet. His advance set up the day before was swift, non stressful and exactly as promised. The day of the party Thomas arrived well in advance and began preparations exactly as planned. All food that came out of the kitchen was timed perfectly - made seemingly on the spot. Even with extremely limited resources - we were hosting the party in a 12th century abbey currently undergoing restoration with no gas, limited electric and one water source - the food that arrived seemed to have come from an expertly set up kitchen. Not a single guest in attendance had a complaint and each remarked on how delicious their food was. The next day for our brunch, Thomas again exceeded any and all expectation, arriving early, cooking without apparent stress and delivering once again top notch cuisine. I would recommend Thomas for any party where the expectation is high caliber food, delivered on site with no problems, added stress and a warm disposition.

Normally I would object to something as…read moreperfectly simple as Japanese cuisine being altered and I am pretty much a purist when it comes to Japanese cooking. However, the Argentinian chef at this restaurant has created some new and delicious twists which work really well. There is still plenty of traditional food on the menu but it is worth taking a risk and trying the Dragon Roll - a hit sushi roll with prawn and eel - for a real treat. We're keen to go back before our week-long holiday is over. The Caprioska was also great.
