I had acrylic nails put on for the first time for my son's wedding. When I went in a few weeks…read morelater to have them removed, the technician used plastic to pry the nails off. This resulted in my natural nail being pulled apart from the "quick" which was very painful and caused them to bleed. She then used the grinder at times grinding down through my nail into the sensitive tissue. For days after my fingers were so sore and my nail so soft from the grinder they are tearing. I did not learn until afterward that this is not the proper procedure to remove acrylic nails! Worst experience I've ever had and will not have this done again!!!
