They looked so darn good! As they made our coffee order, a latte and a breve (basically a latte with half n' half), we putts around the store. They had a collection of cute and cool things: candles, cards, mugs, soaps and so much more. We were in a bit of a haste with being hungry roadtrip travelers so we couldn't look for long but it'd be fun to go back when we had more time. While we headed out, I asked if there was a place they'd recommend for breakfast - an easy stop and pick up spot. They couldn't be happier to recommend another local business as the must-go place. My husband, who grew up in a similar small Texas town, really found this to be a cool moment and I'd agree. Donuts, kolache (only one kind a giant pig in a blanket), and croissant sandwich with eggs, cheese and options for meat - as long as it's in the case. Not a flaky croissant because it's in plastic wrap. Good thing is that she heated up the sandwich and kolache. Not sure this place will be around long so if you like donuts it might be a good option for you. Not sure about the coffee. You take your chance on that.

They offer samples which is nice because I've seen flavors in the grocery store but hadn't tried them. Realizing it was store ice cream was a little of a letdown, especially when we got the bill. We got three single scoop cones with one topping each and our total was $23 without the tip. If they had an experience type of environment that price would be worth it but there is no indoor seating. When we went it was about 95 degrees so sitting outside wasn't an option. I wish they had a cute set up inside, some seating inside. Then it would be a whole experience and the price tag would be worth it. They do have lots of wild ice cream towers but they started at around $13 so that could have gotten pricey. This has great potential but needs to bulk up the overall experience. I'd love a fun place to take visiting friends but this isn't it.

The place can be busy...or not so much, but the employees always have time to stand around and chit chat...then they will make an effort to come over and assist a customer. Just last night they have us our food then they all walked away to continue their side conversations. No one available to ring up us up. I was super close to just walking away with free food until I finally flagged the girl who originally assisted us and asked her if this was free. She was so confused to think we had to pay or something.
