When ordering, Keep in mind it's local Mexican style so it may not be exactly what you'd think. For example, we ordered Chili Rellenos stuff with marlin, which used a different chili. Fillet (which was flounder) stuffed with seafood, which I didn't think would be inside dough, was surprisingly lite and very good. Shrimp Empanadas, nice but a little more doughy that I'd like. Shrimp stuffed with roasted garlic and bacon was very good, lite, nice flavors. Yes, we would definitely go there again, no doubt.

The reason for this is quite evident: everything has been frozen. The meat is frozen, the potatoes are frozen, etc. and they fail to thaw them properly, so you get frozen food in the middle. The owner likes one kind of sauce, (not great) and refuses to add anything else. They use Dijon mustard on EVERYTHING, fajitas, salmon, etc. They keep talking about adding a wine list, but that has not happened yet. Once I asked for a baked potato, they brought mashed potato from the powder box, on a piece of aluminum foil. The potential is huge, since they have a wonderful location and view. What a lovely surprise to discover the renovations to the temporary location. Fantastic job! That's the only thing that's changed. The food, service and staff are as excellent as always.
