Horrible communication. Changing delivery date after confirmation. Offered to reschedule sometime the next week. This was after I had planned on the delivery, taken off work, and waited for 4 days, not contacting anyone else, becuase I was sure of the expected delivery. I can understand letting the driver decide it was too slick, that's a call on the driver. The lack of communication, unanswered phone calls, voicemail was full and we couldn't even leave a message, and then saying that since the driver cancelled the deliveries because it was too slick, we were welcome to come pick up the wood was the final nail in the coffin. I would not recommend them to anyone. I was able to make a call to another person, and got the wood delivered that afternoon. Even in the rain, when the temperature was dropping, and the other company was prompt, friendly, well priced, and he let me know when he was on his way, and when he arrived. Just one guy...how is that even possible?!? Overall, a terrible experience with Austin's Firewood. 1/10 would not eat. :(
