I visited too good to be through a few weeks ago. I was very fortunate. It was my first time I bought three Michael Kors skirts will actually two Michael Kors skirts one ski skirt from Italy not sure of the designer and a jacket from Chico's. Perhaps I think it was Chico's. I sent one to Carolina for my sister and I kept the three skirts they fit perfectly. The store was outfitted very nicely. It was clean. The ladies in the store were very helpful, professional, friendly, and accommodating. They had a wide range of clothing in all different sizes neatly arranged. I also loved the designer handbags plan to go back and maybe get me one or two to go with my collection They had furniture as well in the store, seemingly high-quality everything in the store was very nice quality. Further back in the store, they had a few items that may have been there a little long because they did have that old pungent smell. Which stands to reason that they might. They also had a counter where there was jewelry in the front and also in the back of the store. The prices I thought were very good. The skirts that I purchased were $19 so I'm very happy with that. They were very stylish. I've already worn two of them. I'm looking forward to going back. I live a little ways away, but I think it would be worth the drive. What I really liked about the store was that there was a variety of workers from young to middle age to more mature ladies, and a diversity of ladies and cultures that really impressed me. And thank goodness no one followed you around the store as though you wanted to kleptomaniac something that would have been just annoying. read more

I was in this past Saturday and this past Tuesday. Both experiences left me not wanting to return the younger sales staff were rude and not helpful. This store needs to hire better sales ppl. There was an older woman on Tuesday in the Furniture area and she is was delightful. She is always nice but what is going on hiring these younger ladies that seem to have no social skills. On Saturday my friend and I were waiting for a dressing room and two sales ladies walk by giving us dirty looks. Tuesday I was with my daughter and they just gave her dirty looks also. Aside of having a very poor mens clothing selection, their customer service on the clothing side is terrible. They refused to let me take an item back without paying a 20% penalty, even after explaining that the item would likely not sell. The manager was too busy to speak with customers. You will get the run around when they can't or won't return items to you, and do not take accountability, if/when something is lost or stolen, from their shop. The staff are snooty, have bad attitudes, and they waste your time with the seven minimum bs. Just go to Second Looks.

One can find some quality items here but I will never consign with them again for multiple reasons. First one must check their accounting with a fine tooth comb. One mistake - that can happen. Two mistakes not feeling great. By the third mistake I caught it feels like a scheme. I'm not sure if this can be considered a thrift store, when the items are practically the same price as on the "marked down" rack at the store! Or even more! The selection is wide and I will say their is lots of high quality clothes and items but they are very proud of the items and price to highly to be considered thrifty. Plus I walked around and was ignored by the 2 employees I saw, i purposely tried looking for a half off rack and made it obvious I was hunting for a specific rack... only to still be ignored. Been visiting periodically since they opened. Good selection of items. However this last time the owner cashed me out and was overcharged for all my items. I bought 4 clothing items $12, $14, $23, $17 she charged my card $104. Meaning she didn't give me the discount rates ( sale rate) on price tag. She kept all the price tags and didn't give me a receipt so I can't dispute. Shes chatty to distract you. She's probably stealing from the people who consign their items too. Don't get robbed! I called beforehand to ask if they were accepting women's suits and was told yes. I took a bunch of suits in on the same day and waited about an hour to be told they weren't accepting suits at this time, since people are working from home. I don't appreciate being given wrong information on the phone. Know your current policies instead of just saying what the customer wants to hear. What a waste of time. I also looked around the store a bit. I was pleasantly surprised at the selection of home goods and purses, but most things seemed ridiculously priced. They helped me so much to handle the sale of my furniture in order for me to downsize to another home. It was an emotional experience and they were so supportive. We sold everything at very good prices, more than I could have sold them, for sure, even after sharing the proceeds with them. That and the support from them was the best way to go in downsizing. OMG. This place is a joke. Just the purses indicate THAT. Most of them look like plastic and they're WAY over-priced. The handbags behind glass are hundreds of dollars, some over a thousand! You're paying for the name even though they look like something you'd find at Goodwill or Family Dollar! Same for the clothes. They look tired and cheap. The problem is: this place relies on certain brands no matter their condition but is really just a second-hand shop like Goodwill or the Salvation Army. Overpricing their merchandise is their modus operandi to make gullible shoppers think they're buying something upscale. I don't know about their furniture as I didn't stop in that section. Wonderful store with a huge selection of women's clothes. The men's selection was about the size you'd expect. the consignment of clothing is a rip off. they charge for minor things like opening an account $10 and $5.00 to send you a check monthly. they also have fees per product they sell for you. i have given them expensive items with tags and they give me $4.00 for the item. for the shopper, it may be good but for the consigner, it does nit make good business sense. read more
