I am a married woman in my late 20s. I've been using this gym for 2+ years. Recently there was an increase in predatory behavior where old white men were staring, lurking close, and demonstrating concerning behavior. I reported more than 3 instances immediately to staff working and the gym policy was for me to email the owner. The owner said they would review footage. All I asked was that my complaint against specific people be documented. I didn't seek anyone's personal info but in case anything happened to me I wanted a record that I was made to feel uncomfortable. Women have a way/feeling that helps us discern when someone's gaze has inappropriate intentions. I also met another woman at the gym who also complained about creepy men there. She actually went back into the gym for me after an encounter I had. I left my car key when I confronted an old man who was following me/trying to be behind me while I was working legs. I was laughed at behind closed doors by staff and instead of feeling like my concerns were met with protective measures I was gaslight and ignored. I'll be happy skipping on my way to cancel my membership tomorrow. It's be a long time coming!

When I went to train, I was unexpectedly informed that my membership had been canceled. The owner and Powerlifting coach mentioned it was "nothing personal" and that they wanted to avoid any drama with me and the other members. Despite this, I was the only one who faced such a punishment, which felt extremely one- sided and unfair. This situation has not only disrupted my training routine but has also left me questioning the gym's management and their commitment to treating all members equally. We agreed that I could return after a 3 month ban set to return on March 1st 2025 and when I did he let me train for one day before texting me at 4am the next day saying that he would "pass" on my membership. I hope the gym reconsiders how they handle such situations in the future, as no member should feel unfairly targeted. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this gym unless changes are made in their membership policies and dispute resolution process.
