They are booth very capable young men. There has been a bit of a wait each time I've been here, but Dr. Cody Mecham gives his full attention to each session, you definitely don't feel rushed. All my adjustments have been no "Pain" adjustments. Yay! New patients get a consultation, exam and adjustment for only $35 He listens to your concerns, and will either do an adjustment then and there, or suggest a recommendation. He doesn't try to PUSH ANY UPSALES for example: future appointments, vitamins or the massage chair. There is therapeutic massage on site, but you will need to make a separate appoint with the massage therapist. Convenient online scheduling on their website, or if you need to be seen the same day they do have walk-in's available but have limited hours. Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday 8:30 am -- 12:00 pm closed until 3:30 pm -- 6:00 pm Thursday 2:00 pm -- 6:00 pm, Friday 7:15 am -- 1:00 pm One downside is they send *Lots of "Text" reminders* which can be a pain. A few days later saw a different picture with a person on a table which appeared to stretch the back. Made a phone call, and found that they accepted my insurance. But wanted to do a consultation and take x-rays first. The first appointment they went over range of motion and found the pressure points that caused pain and asked about what I do for work? Told them I sit on a computer many hours a day many days a week. Next they worked up the plan for how many times I will be at the center and what types of things I will have to do at home. They take an alternative approach to Physical Therapy. I like what they do and how they don't mess around with isolating the areas that need some strengthening. Have been to 3 different Physical Therapy places around SLC in the past and they came and went and didn't seem to care. Here they use physiotherapy (not sure how different from PT?) and make sure you are on task and doing the proper procedures as designed. This entails stretching, joint mobilization, soft tissue release, strengthening the muscles, increasing flexibility, and improving balance and coordination. The staff, doctors, chiropractors, massage therapist, and nurses all treat the patients with dignity and respect. Seen a couple negative reviews on where which don't seem to have actually been to the facility except to make an appointment. Some guy named Dust C posted the same things over and over which should be flagged by Yelp for inaccurate review. Have been coming to IG since late July '20 and still go 2x a week now Oct '20. And most days are great for being pain free some days aren't so good but are becoming few and far between. The only negative thing I can say about this place is that they sometimes get really busy, and most of the time it is because I am running late to my scheduled appointment. Highly recommend this facility for those that are suffering from pain that want to avoid surgery or an elixir. :-)

I wish they would have called me to tell me that he was running late, so that I didn't have to take so much time off work just to have Dr Smith look at my ankle. If I wasn't in so much pain I would have left, and came back a different day. My appointment was at 4:20pm and I didn't see Dr Smith until 5:40pm. Mind you they close at 5:00pm. The receptionist was vacuuming, and cleaning up to go home, before I was even seen. When Dr Smith did see me, he was ever so nice, and I didn't feel like he was rushing me out the door because it was past closing time. I insisted on taking xrays. I don't know if that was a waste of money, or not, since nothing showed up on the xrays. No breaks or sprains that he could see. He wanted me to wear a boot. (I just got rid of the brand new one that I have never worn, that cost me an arm and leg) I said I didn't want to by another one unless he knew for 100% that it would fix my foot pain. He couldn't guarantee it, so I opted just for an ankle brace, which helps, but still hasn't fixed my foot pain. I'm supposed to go back in two weeks, but I'm just going to see how this ankle brace works first, before I spend another couple hundred dollars for an office visit.

It took a lot for this busy mom to even get to the doctor in the first place and I left feeling so defeated and humiliated. There seemed to be a huge misunderstanding and I am not a confrontational person at all but he snapped at me and said I was interrupting him. I worked in the medical field for years and we would never have treated a patient or spoken to them in the way that he did to me. Dr. Smith is very busy and probably could care less if he loses me as a patient but hopefully I can prevent someone from making the same mistake that I did.
