It has nice bridges, slides and labyrinths for various ages. We liked the swings too. There's a dedicated 2-5 yrs play area. It's surrounded by fence for kids safety. CONS: The visual appeal is not well maintained. Paint is faded and chipping away. Many tiles cracked or missing. Sand boxes are nearly empty. Playground needs some face lift. Overall, my daughter enjoyed it

It's generally clean for a small park full of pre-teens during the day. The few trees here are old and big, which is nice. For non summer camp days, it can be a pretty quiet & boring suburban place, pleasant yet creepy. It'll do if I don't want to drive too far for a bigger place.

It has more climbing structures and running space for toddlers than nearby Ciegelkowski, but it doesn't have the baseball field or basketball/tennis courts that the other park has. Never usually that many kids there (if you want your child to have some playmates - there's Wall Park in Cheltenham or Champion Park or Fox Chase Rec in Fox Chase).

He was repeatedly told he messed up on a scoring situation, by the refs and the other score keeper, but decided only his opinion mattered- causing a 1 point loss in a basketball playoff game. It is WRONG to do this to children and parents, wasting time, energy, and money on a sports program. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY, find a rec center that plays fairly and follows rules. Hmm the playground is a bit more crowded than others (Burholme, Champion at Susquehanna,…read moreCiegelkowski) but it does have water play - water shooting out of the dragons in the summertime and a public pool. 2 climbing structures, 2 swing sets (1 for baby and 1 regular). The rec has summer camps, swim lessons, sports for kids such as cheerleading, softball, baseball, T-Ball, basketball, gymnastics etc. They have a concession stand too and events such as National Night Out in first weekend in August, where local businesses give out lots of free stuff (pizza, pretzels, water ice etc). They used to have ceramics on Friday nights when I was a kid, but am not sure if they do that anymore. There are ditches around the spinning play structure, which all of the kids fall in while trying to spin it. It'd be nice if they repaired that. Also not as much room to run around as other playgrounds, so go to the fields to do that.

Yay we've been waiting all summer for this to reopen (it said it'd be ready by spring)…read more Baby swingset is in shade which is great (no hot seats on hot days). They added disability swing to main swingset area. There's some ninja warrior new play structures (I tried and you def need to have balance - not the best with flip flops on). Elephant is still there though they filled in sandbox. All new picnic benches and benches too. My phone died while there so I'll add more pics soon. Only thing to make this 5 stars would be if they added sidewalks to surrounding area. I see so many employees of hospital & cancer center walking on roads with cars zooming by (using it as a shortcut and going more than speed limit). I see sick and elderly walking along the roads after walking from bus stop. And I also feel unsafe myself walking with a stroller to the park. I really wish they would add sidewalks to make it safer for all of us!

There's also a baseball field, basketball court, hockey and tennis courts for older kids. There's not usually many kids using the playground (sometimes good and sometimes a bad thing). Little community park …read more A winding walking trail lead along the water. There is a bridge you can cross over to the train station. Or go strain up to the street. It was a cute stroll in nature . ((There was also a playground. )) Parking is on the street... Be careful not to park too close to the fire hydrant. I just wanted a stroll after having a bite to eat nearby.
