However, this is certainly not one of those stations that I particularly liked beyond that, and it certainly could do with a complete revamp (not that that is likely to happen.

In a way it certainly isn't one of my favourite looking stations, but then again as I have mentioned numerous times, you don't really visit railway stations just to have a look at the architecture. Okay, I do, but that is because I like the old stations. As for this one, well, yeah, nothing particularly impressive.

However, the new station is quite nice, and they needed to do it to remove the level crossings. Trains do regularly come through here, but the other thing is that they have restrooms as well, something that tends to be missing from the older stations. Like, it is fancy, and modern, but it Park would have been nice to keep the old station building as well.

However, it is pretty close to the shops and there also happens to be a bus interchange here, which is actually quite useful. Sure, it isn't one of the fanciest stations out there, but it is practical, which I suspect was the point of it all.

This station is basically the end of the line, and in part it feels as if not that many people use…read moreit. Hey, it isn't as if it is too far from many of the places, and as far as I'm concerned, it is a shorter walk to the main town square than any of the other stations (well, maybe not). At least it does have a nice building, and there is also a rather old pedestrian footbridge, not that I see much use for it though considering that the train can't go that much further - with there being water and all that.

When I visited this station they were still in the process of completely revamping it, so it really…read moredidn't look like much. Mind you, I don't expect much to change, except for it to look somewhat newer than it was previously. Then again, it isn't a major station, so I generally wouldn't expect anything particularly fancy to be here. However, I suspect that they will make it more accessible, and hopefully, put some toilets here as well.

This is another one of those rather tacky stations that were built during the age of function over…read moreform. Yeah, it really doesn't look all that impressive, and it is also somewhat annoying that the train doesn't actually run any further, but that is probably because they haven't actually run passenger trains for a while, and the track was never kept in good shape. Still, at least there is an interchange here for the buses, and also it is reasonably close to shops of well. Sure, it isn't one of the greatest stations, but it is still convenient.

There really isn't anything all that great about this particular station. In fact, it is what I…read morewould consider to be one of those newer intermediate stations, namely the ones where they have no facilities, no staff, and you simply come here to get on the train and get off it again (though I usually come here to just get on the train). Then again, there is a shopping centre nearby, and they do have a bus interchange, though a rather small one.
