This was our first year having Bill perform at our annual Children and Babies Fair. After watching clips of his show at birthday parties and family gatherings online, we felt he would be a good fit, but I was even more impressed by him in person! He adapted his show to meet the venue and the audience and the show was a hit with all who watched. What a treat it was to have Bill provide the "main act" for my daughter's 9th birthday party! Unlike the bouncehouse, gymnastics, or bowling parties that require months of preparation, Bill was able to work in our party with a couple weeks of notice. He had a gig earlier in the day, but was able to make it to our house by 3:00 for a 3:30 performance. It was absolutely perfect! Not only was he a great communicator, prompt, and professional -- by oh my! -- he was a truly fantastic performer. Bill had the right mix of humor, showmanship, intrigue, and audience participation. He even got my dad to take the stage as "Instant Magician" (perhaps my favorite part of the show). I still can't believe that I had seven doves in my living room! He named each dove after a child at the party, which was a HUGE hit with the kids. The kids were riveted, even if at times they tried to put on the 9-year-old/pre-teen "I'm-too-cool-to-fall-for-this" attitude at times (they didn't fool anyone). My one critique would be the music -- though it really added to the suspense, at times it was too loud for our space; also, the intro birthday song could be a little bit shorter. All in all, one of the best birthday parties we've ever had... easy and super fun. Magic made for a great theme -- I gave out little party bags with magic wands and a magic card trick... kids seemed pretty happy. Success! read more
