Mary was a wonderful instructor, helping not only explain the concepts making sure that everyone understood them but also ensuring that we were confident and sure of our abilities. She took great care to make sure everyone knew exactly what was needed to be done, and showed multiple ways to do it as everyone is different and won't all practice the same way. She made sure everyone completed the course fully confident in their coronal polishing abilities, able to then go back to their own clinics and perform to high standards. If I could give more stars I would. She helped show me that I was in fact able to polish the teeth when I was very unsure of myself or if I would even be successful as I was learning it right handed while being left handed. I just had a course with Top Notch Dental Assistant. Mary the instructor is AMAZING!! She is also an experienced hygienist so she knows what we deal with in the dental field. I really enjoyed her class and material. She is very informative, professional and knowledgable. The class is a small group so that way she can give you the focus and attention that you need. Mary reviews everything that you learned with you in class. Her slide show is very helpful and inviting. You can tell she really took the time and effort into all her material. She is not an instructor who just says study and take the test. She really wants you to understand and encourages questions to be asked. The class is a relaxed environment which helps with those who have anxiety such as myself. I recommend her to everyone and anyone who needs to take a coronal polishing & fluoride application course.
