Reason for report: We negotiated a price with a discount for total cost of $13,978 for 1045sf. of patio. Problems started day one of project when the wrong underlayment came in. It was crushed concrete full of junk. I told them take it back, job requires standard class 5 road base. 'Do these guys even know what their doing'? every step forward with the job was the same situation, one step forward two steps back. Thankfully I have a background with this type of job and the procedure it takes to complete a quality outcome. Do to health issues I was not able to do the job my self, and luckily was onsite to provide daily guidance so things were done right. CONSUMER ALERT! This company shouldn't take on jobs like this due to the other obligations they have. They continuously had to leave early or call off to attend to other obligations. When they were on the job and weren't distracted by other things to do they did 'ok', it just wasint at the level of quality and experience they claimed. Thats where my assistance was necessary. EVERYDAY things needed to be addressed, they were agreed upon and fixed. Without my knowledge and actual physical help the job from day one would have turned out to be a disaster. They had to dig out the step they were doing multiple times because they didint do the previous step properly! There was an UPCHARGE of the pavers that the company charged, and did NOT disclose, they describe it as 'overhead', which should have been part of the installation which cost 7000. This UPCHARGE was nothing but a way to recuperate the discount they gave me in the hope I wouldn't catch it! Supplier charges .68c per brick & .61c bulk (pallet) My cost bulk for 4720 bricks bulk is $2879.20 which I should have and would have bought on my own. I was charged by Pro lawn .82c per brick for $3894?, for a total $1,014.80 scam charge! Seeking refund of $1,014.80
