My mom's back and front yards needed to be trimmed waaay back and the backyard, especially, was overgrown with weeds. Also both the front and the back irrigation systems were leaking. The crew got to work at 10 am and by just after noon both yards were immaculate - neatly trimmed, free of weeds, dead leaves blown out, debris carted away, both irrigation systems fixed and automatic timers reset. They also dug up and replaced some brittle irrigation lines. It took two weeks to get on their schedule, but it was well worth the wait! I will call them again and recommend them to everybody I know!

This company is not limited to being a weed-puller, raker, clean-up crew. They have the sophistication to xeriscape, construct, reimagine and redesign whatever space and infrastructure you have (be it large or small). In our yard they created a rolling dry creekbed that is as beautiful as it is functional for drainage. They designed a special walkway with a gate made from ocotillo fence and custom railroad tie "totems". They chose plants to work with the environment and brought in gravels for textures- both new sizes and colors plus to match and refresh my existing materials where they disturbed them. Everyday they were here I was shocked at how they could make it look better than the last day. This project took some time as they figured out solutions for what the landscape, irrigation and lighting presented them. Throughout the job traffic by my house increased as people watched what was going to happen next. I have one regret: when they asked if I wanted a sitting area in the front I said "no" but, in retrospect that was a mistake as I spend a lot of time staring out at the new activity the yard has from wildlife and blooms. I can't believe what they were able to accomplish with the short consultation we had at the beginning. Didn't seem to know the process or materials to be use and seemed to be using a prepared script to 'sell us' the job. Sonomascape (Cruz) came by, walked us through the process and explained the differences between their process and his competitors. Cruz's process takes double the time from start to finish (5 days) whereas Galaxy is a two-day process. The difference is a much better product by Sonomascape. Both companies were very similarly prices. The final product is worth the added inconvenience time wise. The crew (all family) are polite and hard working.
