The unit had always been maintained and was in excellent working order. I had Andrew come out and told me the whole system would need to be removed and replaced, in excess of $10000.00. That was his 'deal' he was giving me!!! He knew we were selling our family home, and when I declined his offer to have everything ripped out and replaced, he continued to send me text messages referencing, if I didn't get this done, I would depreciate the value of my home because of blemishes etc. I found him unprofessional to say the least and stopped replying to his constant messages telling me it was 'the only approach to get my house on the market' and 'it would be too costly to have it all removed. Save your money and shop around..... I was warned to not deal with this company, but I always like to have my own opinion/experience before I make my own mind up.

This week, another technician who repaired the stove pointed out that a plate was not covering the electrical wiring behind the stove's kick plate. So, for four years, my family and I were using a GAS stove with exposed wiring just behind the kick plate. The owner came by today with a "colleague" to "investigate." His colleague admitted that a plate should cover the exposed wiring. Rather than admit this grievous oversight, the owner offered up this absurd explanation: Someone else removed the plate in the four years since the original installation. No one removed the plate. No one. Why would anyone do that? He also claims that he installed a shut off valve. I have asked the TSSA to launch an investigation. Save yourself the risk and trouble my family has unknowingly endured for four years. I urge you to choose another contractor. The owner will no doubt respond to this warning with denials and accusations. You can believe him if you want to but, if you do, you will regret it.

Yesterday Vinnie conned my elderly mother into signing something that she though was to qualify for…read morefinancing. He was very misleading and using very aggressive sales tactics. After she signed it he left. She had actually signed a sales contract. Once we realized what she had done she called him to cancel and was told that there was a $2700 cancellation fee even though no work has been done or product received. Ontario law states that any contract can be cancelled within 10 days with no penalty. Their parent company was sued last year for $17 million and they are back to the same slimy stuff again. Thankfully I recorded the entire thing on my phone so with any luck we can launch another class action suit against them. Wish us luck!!!

I wanted to write and highly recommend Peter and Chimney Master. He is a real pro and even though…read morewe were out of his service area he agreed to take on our job to clean out a very plugged roof top dryer vent. But Peter did not stop there. He realized the vent pipe was disconnected from the dryer and lint had accumulated inside the dry creating a real fire hazard. He took it upon himself to open up the dryer and clean out the lint inside the dryer and also reconnect the vent pipe and secured it with a screw. Peter really only needed to clean the vent but being the professional that he is he went over and above. Importantly he did all this and did so being very fair with his pricing.
