A kick-off meeting or call would have been helpful to go over our options, ask questions, and get a better sense of the timeline. We were always playing catch-up with questions and requests because we got a days' notice for tear off (which is understandable with winter weather of course). Additionally, there were a couple of instances where the crew arrived without prior notice, and it was just luck that someone was home to put the dogs away. However, they were very understanding of the situation and when we found our current prospective property on the market I was able to schedule a home inspection rapidly. He was available earlier in the day than anticipated and spent the entire morning combing over every single detail of the home. He found issues that two prior pest inspectors missed, and he was willing to take a look at any issues that we were concerned with and if necessary, include them in the report. He also was able to clearly explain what each issue was and provided a detailed and color coded report which was easy to understand. Furthermore, he even addressed potential issues with the property in the future, such as trees that were growing close to the roof of the garage that would need to be trimmed back so that they would not rub against the shingles during windy weather. We agreed on a price and he and his crew showed up about a week later and found the issue to be dirt buildup in the valley flashings. Jeff and his crew removed all the moss growth on the roof, cleaned the debris that was creating a dam in the valley flashing, inspected and repaired what needed repairing on the roof and even cleaned out the gutters.
