Very professional outfit, highly recommend! Scheduled quickly, prompt, solid communication throughout our large job. Adam spent a lot of time checking our trees. Some were dead, many diseased, prior cutting created a lot of 'cleanup' work to be done by his climbers. We remain in awe of how our 2 acre yard looks now. We had to take down 2 large oak trees after the hurricanes. The City of Clearwater removed the large debris and stumps however left behind a large amount of smaller debris which was more than we could clean up . We contacted Kyle with Top Notch who came out immediately who hand raked our side yard and cleaned up the whole mess for us. He's a great guy and saved us a bunch of work and effort. I was looking for tree removal services to come out a week later and provide an estimate, but the guy told me I was wasting his time.

Don't hire this guy. He is a thief and a liar. He destroyed the transmission in his own truck and for over a year, he did nothing to remedy the situation, opting instead to rent U-hauls if and when he could get any work lined up. When he one of his climbers got a truck of his own, this guy was all about using that truck, and the climber's girlfriend's trailer too. And he was fine with splitting the money 50/50. But when the climber had an accident and they had to rent a truck, this con man had his climber work for him for 2 days, and then when it was time to pay the climber, he told the climber that he's only going to pay him 25%.. of NET. He expected the climber to pay for 50% of 'costs,' and then only make 25% of the profit. During this time, he borrowed my trailer one day and asked me if I wanted him to keep it at his house so it didn't cause me any problems with code enforcement. I told him no. That night, at 9:45 I called him to find out where it was, and he told me I would have to pay him $10.00 'cash' that night for the 'mileage' on the U-Haul he was renting, if I wanted it brought back. I told him I didn't have it on me but would the next day, despite the fact that he had no right to demand payment for bringing back MY PROPERTY that he borrowed... He 'dismissed' me and told me he would bring my trailer back in the morning, unless the sheriff's showed up at his house for my trailer and if that happened he would report me to CPS. The next morning, he picked the climber up at my house, but he did not have my trailer with him and he refused to bring my trailer back until 9pm that night. The next day is when Randy told the climber (after the climber worked for him for 2 days without any discussion about a different split).... that he was only paying him 25% of the 'net' for the two days the climber had already worked. That's when his climber said, "Then I'm going to come get my gear because I have better offers than 25% of NET.) Randy's response was 'If you're not going to work for you then I'm keeping your gear." This gear consisted of a chainsaw, aluminium spikes, steel spikes, and a climbing belt. The climber went to this guy's house to get his gear back, and the guy refused. The climber called the Sheriff's Office and two deputies came out, and said it was a civil matter and that there wasn't anything they could, though... 'Randy' did give the climber back the climber's chainsaw, some belt that wasn't even the climber's belt and the steel spikes, while telling the officer he didn't have anything else of the climbers. And then this guy had the deputies 'trespass' the climber from his property... And then showed up at the climber's house the next morning, blaring his horn in the driveway. The climber went out and talked to him and this con man said he wasn't mad anymore and that he still wanted to work with him.... (of course, because no one else is going to 'climb' for 25% of NET... or even gross.... a good climber is worth $250-$350 a day and never makes less than 30% of 'what the job pays,') The climber had no choice but to go along with him so he could get his gear back. He certainly couldn't afford to be out of work due to this guy having his work equipment, while waiting to file a civil lawsuit in the courts. So the climber went to work with the guy that day and when 'Randy' dropped the climber off at home, he made a 'hurried' exit so the climber couldn't get his gear out of the truck. The next day, he picked the climber up for work and 'conned' the climber into signing a 'piece of paper' stating that he had and was holding the climbers chainsaw, aluminium spikes, and climbing belt until he was repaid for a 'ladder' that the climber had borrowed a year before which had been stolen from a job site. There was no 'payment' plan denoted. It did not state the climber was 'agreeing' to it. It was simply a 'declaration' that 'Randy' was actually committing extortion and the climber's signature was at best an 'acknowledgement' that Randy was in fact extorting labor and money from him. It wasn't even notarized. A document signed under duress is not a legally binding or valid agreement. And it also has to be notarized to be legal. The climber actually had to 'stage' a job at a friends house to get his gear back, and Randy actually called the Sheriff's office to come out to the friend's house. The officer who showed up told him that it was a civil matter, but Randy continued to push him. The officer told him at least 5 times that it would have to be notarized to be of any use, (and even then it would be a civil matter) and Randy, knowing full well that it was not notarized kept insisting he was going to go get it and bring it back to show the officer. He never did go back. The officer waited 20 minutes and then, he had more important things to go do. Don't do business with this guy. He's a thief and a liar. An extortionist and sneak. read more
